In the early morning ......of July 16, the night was like ink, and in the bright lights and narrow and stuffy ditch in the maintenance garage of Zhengzhou East EMU, Zhai Weimin was carrying out detailed maintenance of the EMU on-board equipment with the help of hand-held lights.
Zhai Weimin, deputy director of the on-board equipment workshop of the Zhengzhou high-speed rail infrastructure section of the Zhengzhou Bureau of China Railway Group, is responsible for the daily analysis, maintenance and emergency response of the on-board vehicle control equipment of the 127 EMUs of the Zhengzhou Bureau Group Company on weekdays.
Today, high-speed rail is like a flowing artery covering the land of the motherland. In this busy and sophisticated transportation network, the safe operation of high-density EMUs is crucial.
EMU train control on-board equipment is the core safety equipment of EMU, and its most important function is speed protection control. In the process of train operation, the on-board equipment obtains the train braking characteristics through the on-board input or call storage information, including various braking deceleration, braking establishment time, etc., obtains the line letter length, slope and various speed limit information from the ground equipment, receives the operation permission command, calculates the speed monitoring curve in real time to generate the current limit speed, monitors the running speed of the train in real time, and gives the corresponding instructions to the driver through the man-machine interface.
When it comes to the maintenance of this sophisticated system, the devil is in the details. With the spirit of craftsmanship, Zhai Weimin conducted an in-depth analysis of each EMU fault from the aspects of management, regulations, technology, maintenance, etc., summarized the annual abnormal information alarm distribution and equipment operation status, and carefully studied effective countermeasures in advance according to the sudden difficult faults and abnormal alarm distribution of EMU ATP equipment on the way, and carried out special rectification of equipment in a targeted manner, which greatly reduced the frequency of abnormal information.
In addition, in view of the phenomenon of 300T equipment due to the separation of machine cards, which is easy to cause wireless overtime degradation alarm during the operation of the EMU, in 2023, Zhai Weimin repeatedly scrutinized the overtime fault data of the train, sorted out the internal structure of the equipment, combined with the advantages of the disposal methods of each bureau and the materials used, summarized the method of using the SIM card to fix the inside and increase the shielding outside, and formulated a standardized operation process, which has basically eliminated the occurrence of this fault throughout the year.
In his usual work, Zhai Weimin pays attention to accumulating experience in management technology, and constantly sorts out and improves emergency plans. He took the lead in completing the emergency command schematic diagram of the national EMU operation line, integrating information, and quickly viewing important emergency contact and coordination information such as the EMU running path, the locomotive duty section, and the EMU parking location.
He has also continued to sort out typical failure cases, and has completed the compilation of more than 40 cases. In view of the potential safety hazards caused by factors such as new equipment failures and abnormal operation of drivers, he also formulated emergency guidance manuals and fault information notification and circulation processes for various models of equipment, further standardized the guidance items in emergency disposal, and timely guided the site to effectively and accurately judge faults, compress abnormal information processing time, and ensure the safe operation of EMUs.
As a workshop safety manager, Zhai Weimin strictly abides by the idea of "safety first" in his work, and combines the actual production situation, considers the whole situation, conducts risk research and judgment on on-site safety risks, and finds problems and improves them in time. He carried out various forms such as on-site safety examples, interpretation of accident lessons, etc., integrating safety education into daily life, so that employees can seriously understand the importance of safety risk management.
During Zhai Weimin's railway career, he was both a workshop manager and a craftsman of Zheng Tie, and he won the honor of being a technical expert in the whole road twice. The work practice has provided him with the space to display his talents, and has also allowed him to gradually grow into a manager with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent ideological quality.
