Since winning the bid and signing the contract in August 2023, the project team responded quickly and took over the site on October 8 to fully start construction preparations.

Since entering the site, the project team has demonstrated high professionalism and construction efficiency, and has completed a series of preliminary work including the construction of the project camp road, control and measurement, camp construction, mixing plant installation and construction equipment entry. The professionalism and rapid progress of the Sichuan Road and Bridge team in the construction process have been highly appreciated by the owners and Tanzanian governments at all levels, laying a solid foundation for the company's further development in the Tanzanian market.

The Mwamkuru Irrigation System Rehabilitation Project is not only an important infrastructure project, but also a far-reaching livelihood project. After the completion of the project, it will greatly improve the farmland irrigation facilities in the area, effectively enhance agricultural production capacity, and further promote the development of local agricultural economy.
