With the official opening of the Paris Olympic Games, this event in the history of sports has once again become the talk of the people after dinner. In addition to the traditional sports, the Paris Summer Olympics added four new sports, namely breakdancing, skateboarding, rock climbing, and surfing. The emergence of new sports has once again stirred the heartstrings of those who pay attention to the entry of MMA sports into the Olympics.
As early as 2016, as the international audience of MMA increased, UFC event president Dana White publicly stated that he would do everything possible to bring MMA to the Olympics. After all, due to the special nature of the sport, many MMA celebrities are Olympic athletes.
And even this talented man who is extremely valuable and has created such a behemoth as the UFC has still not been able to achieve his goal of bringing MMA to the Olympics.
In 2018, the world's two major MMA regulators, WMMAA and IMMAF, announced a merger to jointly promote MMA sports into the Olympics.
However, in February 2019, MMA's decision to enter the Olympics was rejected, and the then retired MMA legend revealed that MMA could successfully enter the Olympics at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
However, from the newly added sports of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics announced so far, there is no shadow of MMA. However, considering the influence of MMA in North America, the possibility of becoming an acting sport cannot be ruled out.
In addition, it is reported that the venue for the 2036 Summer Olympics is most likely to be in Qatar. As a Middle Eastern country, whether it is Qatar or Saudi Arabia, or the Kingdom of Bahrain, which endorses the largest MMA event in the Middle East, BRAVE CF, is open to MMA sports, the shift in the focus of boxing sports, and the emergence of fighting islands all indicate that Middle Eastern countries are interested in creating regional combat sports attribute labels.
As one of the oldest MMA events in China, YFU Youde Ultimate Fighting has been committed to promoting the development of MMA in the domestic market and constantly sending fresh blood to the international arena.
In addition, YFU Youde Ultimate Fighting is never limited to the domestic track, and actively goes abroad to integrate with international standards, and the frequent holding of Chinese and foreign competitions has well promoted the exchange between domestic fighters and foreign fighters.
It may still take time for MMA to enter the Olympic Games, but as a promoter of the sport, YFU Youde Ultimate Fighting will do its best to contribute to the development of MMA martial arts.
On August 9th, YFU Youde Ultimate Fighting will once again partner with BRAVE CF, the No. 1 fighting event in the Middle East, and the two teams will have a wonderful showdown in Studio 8 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
