Introduction to the profession
INTRODUCTION
Environmental design
Environmental design is a comprehensive discipline that systematically studies the function, technology and form of the spatial environment, involving aesthetics, architecture, psychology, behavior, sociology, ecology and other fields. With the goal of sustainable social and environmental development, we will build a "people-thing-environment" system to create a more reasonable and comfortable way of living for human beings. Adhering to the development idea of "paying equal attention to theoretical research and design practice, integrating production, education and research, and designing to serve the society", this major cultivates high-level innovative compound talents engaged in environmental design. At the same time, the major has the right to confer master's degrees, the faculty structure is reasonable, 1 professor, 2 associate professors, and 95% of them have obtained doctorates, and the proportion of master's degrees is 95%, and the major has been approved as "Provincial Informatization Education Space Overall Design Teaching Team", "Provincial First-class Undergraduate Major", "Provincial First-class Course" and "School-level Teaching Innovation Award". He has won a number of national, provincial and ministerial social science funds, and many works of teachers and students have been selected for national art exhibitions, and have won many awards in national professional academic exhibitions.
The main courses of environmental design major: cartography, ergonomics, spatial design basics, design thinking and expression, lighting and materials, parametric design, system and service design, interaction design, architectural construction, small building design, interior thematic design, environmental analysis bilingual courses.

EXHIBITION
Adapting to the times: sustainable design for new productivity
The rapid rise of new quality productivity with digitalization, networking, and intelligence as distinctive symbols has brought unprecedented opportunities and challenges to environmental design education. As environmental designers in the digital age, they have begun to think about how to cope with the innovative changes brought by the new quality of productivity to design education, design practice and design industry. To this end, this year's graduation project of the environmental design major focuses on the theme of "change with the times" and three action paths to design and create: first, how do we change. Theoretically, the digital design strategy is guided by the methodology of art and science integration, and the algorithm generation is systematically integrated with the digital chain of the space environment, so as to realize the goal of digital technology empowering environmental sustainable design from the content. Second, how do we change. The connotation of new quality productivity is implemented in the creative content of environmental sustainable design, such as the sustainable energy industry, sustainable post-disaster reconstruction, sustainable traditional culture, sustainable psychological healing, sustainable living space for special groups and other directions. Finally, move towards more diverse and positive environmental design challenges. Mankind has faced the great challenge of Industry 5.0, and technological iteration has been closely linked to the interactive innovation of human thinking paradigm. We are facing the new proposition of new quality productivity, while improving our core competitiveness, we need to carry out interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary innovative talent training, efficient layout and active response in advance, integrity and innovation, and brave the future.
