The 'B' is Lloyd's Register certified and utilises solar energy and HVO (Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil), making it another important milestone in Ferdistar's roadmap to achieve net-zero yacht construction by 2030. Key figures include the generous volume and 10.8-metre width of the 1200 GT, which boasts the iconic blue-grey hull and white superstructure. The exterior was designed by Studio De Voogt and the contemporary interior design was designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture &design, and the owner plays a huge role in the design and environmental certification of the yacht.

The "B" is the first Fertistar superyacht to be equipped with solar cells to assist in power generation, custom-made in Netherlands, which the shipyard calls one of the most efficient and durable products on the market, producing up to 24 megawatt hours of electricity per year.

Like many other Fitty newbuild yachts, the "B" is not only capable of running on non-fossil HVO fuel, but is also equipped with an advanced diesel-electric propulsion system, ensuring that she is both environmentally friendly and efficient during her voyage. In addition to this, her hull shape is also optimized for cruising speed rather than top speed.

In addition to being the first Phitistar yacht to be equipped with solar panels, the "B" is also the first new-build Ferdistar yacht to use FSC-certified plantation teak on all decks, meaning that all wood on board is sustainably sourced.

The "B" also boasts an enviable YETI (Yacht Environmental Transparency Index) score, and with a range of energy-efficient designs, she has managed to reduce its environmental impact below average, placing it in the top 35% of the fleet, setting a new benchmark for green sailing. It is designed with several efficiency-enhancing facilities to compensate for the loss of electrical conversion on board.

The yacht is part of a successful series of sustainable yachts launched over the past 12 months, and in May 2024, Fitstar also launched the world's first hydrogen fuel cell superyacht, Project 821, the 118.8-metre flagship yacht currently on sale on pure green hydrogen fuel. This is followed by the HVO-powered superyacht "Obsidian" and the full hybrid certified superyacht Project 1012. They all represent another step towards the goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2030.
