WiderCat 76
Italy yacht manufacturer Wider continues to consolidate its position as a disruptor in the yachting market with a wide variety of models that spark the imagination and demonstrate the vision and versatility of the Wider brand.
At this year's Cannes Yachting Festival, which takes place from 10 to 15 September, the shipyard will present two of its extraordinary creations: the exquisite WiderCat 76 catamaran, which is a new trend in catamaran models with its sophisticated design and exceptional stability; The WiLder 60 outboard yacht is the perfect blend of strength and beauty, with a striking silhouette that seems to have been tailor-made for the sea traveller looking for an exceptional experience.
Presented in SYE021 and QML020 respectively, the models of these two yachts promise to offer a unique experience that is not only a fusion of craftsmanship and art, but also a profound interpretation of the Wider Group's concept of "tailor-made", from the uniqueness of the design concept, to the excellence of the engineering and the ingenuity of the interiors, all of which demonstrate Wider's relentless pursuit of excellence and deep insight into the market.

Adhering to the principles of technological innovation and spatial design, the WiderCat 76 combines the charm of a superyacht with the flexibility of a leisure yacht. The WiderCat 76 is under construction at the Wider Vision Hub, a new shipyard in Fano, shaped by a valuable collaboration between Luca Dini Design and Wider Centro Stile's interiors and the expertise of Wider's engineering department.
Her striking lines exemplify not only style but also practical benefits, such as bulwarks and superstructure angles that maximise light into the interior and facilitate views of the sea from within; Or a layout that offers beachfront chic living, including a huge saloon, spacious lower galley, expansive main deck with direct access to the forward cockpit and terrace, and expansive deck space to embrace the best of outdoor water living.
The new WiderCat 76 brings a redefined interior concept that once again highlights the shipyard's versatility. Marcello Maggi, President of W-Fin Sarl, the holding company that owns Wider, enthuses: "This yacht features an elegant Hampton style reinterpreted in the yacht style. "It is sophisticated and incredibly welcoming, offering hosts and guests a relaxing onboard experience, reminiscent of a beach house, thanks to walls covered with ivory lacquered panels, contrasting with the dark oak lattice decks and herringbone parquet flooring. She will be stunning," he continued, "and the décor perfectly complements the spacious interior and exterior layout. Not only is she the sister boat of the WiderCat 92, but she is also a step forward, a feature that marks the essence of the Wider brand. ”

Maggi said: "The WiderCat 76 continues our philosophy of incorporating the size of a superyacht into a smaller vessel – in this case, the 23.12-metre catamaran with a width of 10.48 metres – while drawing on our experience of mega yachts to provide superyacht-like smoothness for both interior and exterior spaces. "Together with our talented Centro Stile design team, Luca Dini Design has designed a stunning, stylish and visionary yacht that will once again push the boundaries of yachting."
WiLder 60 outboard model
With its supercar performance and superyacht-class bespoke finishes, the WiLder 60 has been making statements since the launch of its first hull earlier in the summer of 2024 with signature design elements from the Wider Centro Stile. Designed to appeal to the wilder side of all, this all-aluminium high-performance 18-metre yacht combines refined interiors with spacious exterior party decks and superior handling to deliver a yachting experience like no other.
Now, as part of the natural evolution of the WiLder 60 series, this model will be available in an outboard version with the first outboard hull. The outboard version is designed in part for the North American market but has broad appeal to a change-hungry global market, with four Mercury Verado 600 outboards capable of a top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots.

The configuration of the outboard has also brought other benefits, for example, the space that forms the cabin on the standard version has been repurposed as a crew cabin, and the main interior can be used as both a two-cabin four-passenger layout and a three-cabin six-passenger layout for long-distance travel. Like the standard version, the interior boasts details and styling elements that blend a supercar and a superyacht, while the outboard version also features an interior customised by Wider for a fully custom yacht, which is unique in the category.

Maggi said: "The WiLder 60 embodies both the appeal to dynamic, discerning owners who know what they want and what we can offer, as well as the genius and flexibility of Wider Engineering and our Centro Stile team to create a yacht that not only stuns inside and out, but also has amazing performance on the water. ”

"The outboard version continues this core essence and adds versatility and appeal with new drives, new layout options and new ways to interact with the ocean, thanks to the stern island's sun pads and our signature drop-down bulwarks that extend the aft terrace to the water. The design and positioning of the four outboards ensures minimal impact on water access, while guaranteeing the same thrilling performance and handling as the standard version, which has already captured the imagination of some owners. ”
The lightweight construction of the WiLder 60 outboard (with a displacement of only 33 tons) belies the details and comfort offered by the model, including a luxurious interior and a sinuous exterior that includes a dining table for eight people, two large sunbeds, a front lounge and chaise longue next to the rudder. The outboard configuration also makes maintenance easier.
Maggi concludes: "The WiderCat 76 and WiLder 60 outboards are the perfect complement to the WiderCat 92 and WiLder 60 surface propeller drive versions that we presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival and show that Wider is not only continuing to develop its own range of boats, but also to continue to innovate. "We were built on the philosophy of advancing technology and design that will transform all forms of yachting, and today, from our supermodel thoughtfulness to our exceptional superyacht showcase, we continue to showcase our versatility and share our vision with forward-thinking owners in all aspects of the yachting market."
