According to the China Ocean Forecast Network, the National Ocean Forecast Observatory issued a yellow alert for storm surge in accordance with the "Marine Disaster Emergency Plan". Affected by the strong cold air, it is expected that from the early morning to the morning of September 20, there will be a storm increase of 60 to 120 cm in Bohai Bay and a storm increase of 40 to 100 cm in Laizhou Bay. The storm surge warning level is yellow in Tianjin, Tangshan and Cangzhou in Hebei Province and Binzhou in Shandong Province. Relevant coastal departments are requested to strengthen marine fishery breeding facilities, carry out inspection and maintenance of seawalls, sluices and other facilities, do a good job in reinforcing seawalls in weak and dangerous areas, prepare for moisture, and stop seaside open-air collective activities and sea-related recreational and leisure activities such as fishing, swimming, surfing, and diving.
48-hour forecast: From noon on September 20 to the morning of the 21st, there will be 80 to 150 cm of storm water in Bohai Bay, 110 to 180 cm of storm water in Laizhou Bay, 30 to 70 cm of storm water in the northern coast of Shandong Peninsula, and 20 to 50 cm of storm water in the southern coast of Shandong Peninsula. Storm surge warnings are orange for Cangzhou City in Hebei Province and Binzhou City in Shandong Province, yellow for Tianjin City, Tangshan City in Hebei Province, Weifang City and Yantai City in Shandong Province, and blue for Dongying, Weihai and Rizhao Cities in Shandong Province. The storm surge warning is expected to be lifted on the morning of September 21.
