According to the forecast of the meteorological department, the weather will be mainly sunny to cloudy for most of next week, with two light rains during the period, from the night of the 16th (Wednesday) to the day of the 17th (Thursday) and during the day on the 20th (Sunday). The maximum temperature during the day is 22~14 °C, and the minimum temperature at night is 13~5 °C, and the overall temperature gradually decreases. Please pay attention to the weather forecast and adjust your attire in time.
Traffic operations are expected to return to normal next week. The morning rush hour on Monday, the morning and evening peak on Tuesday 4/9 traffic restriction day, and the evening peak on Friday are under greater traffic pressure. The main ring roads in the eastern, northern and western parts of the city, the main connecting lines such as Wanquanhe Road, Fushi Road, Lianshi East Road, Caihuying South Road and Guangqu Road, and the expressways such as Beijing-Tibet, Beijing-Chengcheng, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao, Beijing-Kaizhou, Capital Airport, and Jingtong Express have significant tidal characteristics in and out of the city during the morning and evening rush hours, and the traffic pressure in some sections is concentrated. On October 14 (Monday), commuting, commuting, and medical travel during the morning rush hour were superimposed, and the traffic pressure was greater. From 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., the roads around 101 Middle School, Guangqumen Middle School, and 11th School are prone to slow traffic. From 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., it is expected that there will be vehicle queuing at the entrances and exits of the parking lots of the Institute of Pediatrics, Union Hospital, and the Third Hospital of Beijing Medical University and the surrounding roads. On October 15 (Tuesday), the traffic will be limited to tail numbers 4 and 9, and the traffic pressure will be greater than that on other weekdays. The traffic pressure in CBD, Madian, Chaoyangmen and other areas is relatively large. On October 18 (Friday), commuting, shopping, and party travel during the evening rush hour were superimposed, and the passenger and vehicle flow in comprehensive business districts such as Xidan, Wangfujing, Guomao, Sanlitun, and Blue Harbor was large, and vehicles were prone to short-term queuing at the entrances and exits of surrounding roads and parking lots. In order to promote the "integration of two networks" of ground bus and rail transit, Beijing Public Transport Group will optimize 29 bus routes such as F86 and 421 from October 19 (Saturday), and another 11 lines will adjust their stations and 16 lines will adjust their business hours (please click for details). It is recommended that citizens give priority to public transportation and green travel, and try to avoid congestion during peak hours and around schools and hospitals.
The 2024 annual SWIFT International Banking Operations Conference is scheduled to take place from 21 to 24 October. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the conference, from 8 o'clock on October 12 to 20 o'clock on the 27th, some sections of Tianchen West Road and Tianchen East Road near the National Convention Center will be temporarily closed. Vehicles and pedestrians can detour via Beichen West Road, National Stadium North Road, Datun Road and Hujing East Road.
On the evening of October 15, the National Stadium will host a basketball event; On the evenings of the 17th and 20th, basketball events will be held at the Capital Gymnasium; On the evening of the 19th, a football match will be held at the Workers' Stadium, and a concert will be held at the Wukesong Stadium. The National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing Concert Hall, China National Convention Center, Beijing Exhibition Center and other areas will also host a number of events. During the peak hours of audience admission and dismissal, some sections of the road around the venue are prone to short-term slow traffic. The annual Xiangshan Red Leaves Festival has now kicked off, with October 19 (Saturday) and October 20 (Sunday) being the first two key days of the year, with more tourists. In order to ensure the safety and smoothness of traffic in the Xiangshan area during the autumn foliage viewing season, motor vehicles are prohibited from driving from east to west on October 13th, 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th, November 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day. It is recommended that you avoid the peak hours of 9:00 to 15:00 on weekends and visit the park off-peak. Try to take the subway Xijiao Line to go, it is convenient and fast.
Autumn is getting stronger, and the public is enthusiastic about going out to enjoy autumn, and the autumn garden activities held in the park scenic area will attract a large number of visitors. Badaling Forest Park, Gubei Water Town, Horngoumen, Miaofeng Mountain, Baiwang Mountain, Jinhai Lake and other scenic spots are more popular, and the entrance and exit of the highway near popular scenic spots on weekends are prone to vehicle queuing. Members of the public are advised to make reasonable travel plans and avoid congested road sections and peak hours as much as possible.
