Stories related to Zhu Xi
It is still on this blessed land
The young Zhu Xi moved to Jian'ou
In the seventh year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1137), Zhu Xi, who was only 7 years old, moved to Jianzhou (now Jian'ou) with his parents, and built Huanxi Jingshe in the south of Jian'ou City. Until the thirteenth year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1143), Zhu Xi's father Zhu Song died of illness in Huanxi Jingshe. In the spring of the second year, Zhu Xi obeyed his father's orders, and left Jianzhou with his widowed mother Zhu Lao Lady and moved to Chong'an Wufuli.

From the age of 7 to 14, Zhu Xi spent a carefree childhood and adolescence in Jianzhou. During this period, Zhu Xi's scholarly and poetic cultivation advanced by leaps and bounds, laying a deep foundation for his later academic achievements.
Here, Zhu Xi also left a good story of "sandbank painting hexagram". In the frontispiece of "Wei Zhai Collection", it is recorded in the "Wei Zhai Gong Annals": "The public tastes back and forth between the building and the sword, and likes the beautiful landscape of Jianzhou, so he builds a fine house on the sand and moves to Yan." Shi Wengong was eight years old. When I was a child, I painted gossip on the sand, that is, this place. This is about Zhu Xi when he was young, he and his friends went to the stream to play, and used branches to draw gossip symbols on the sand, which shows that Zhu Xi was very intelligent when he was young.
The young Zhu Xi was admitted to study in Jian'ou
In the seventeenth year of Song Shaoxing (1147), 17-year-old Zhu Xi returned to Jianzhou to participate in the imperial examination, and won the first place among more than 300 candidates in the township examination for the first time. Cai Zi, the chief examiner of the Jianzhou Tribute Academy, reviewed his test papers and couldn't help but praise: "I take the first generation of secondary school, and the three strategies all want to take big things for the imperial court, and he will be very human in the future." ”
As a hard-core scholar, Zhu Xi almost passes every exam. In the second year, Zhu Xi went to Lin'an, the capital, to participate in the Ministry of Rites Examination and then took the Jinshi examination, and then participated in the official selection examination, passed successfully, and embarked on a career from then on.
Middle-aged Zhu Xi lectures in Jian'ou
In Zhu Xi's life, the experience of eunuchs is not very long, and the rest of the time is spent traveling, lecturing, and writing.
In the second year of Chunxi of the Southern Song Dynasty (1175), Zhu Xi returned to Jianzhou and often lectured at the academy founded by Han Yuanji, then the prefect of Jianning Prefecture (later built as Jian'an Academy).

Zhu Xi saw that the Zixiazhou where the academy was located was beautiful, so he dug a well in front of the academy and named it "Gen Spring". Because this well was dug by Zhu Xi, later generations also called it "Zhu Zijing".
After Zhu Xi dug the well, he also wrote "Gen Quanming": "The sun of the phoenix, the foot of the crane, there is a tiff. The col of the hall, the belly of the nursery, is fertile and fertile. Bundled in the pavilion, moistened in the valley, and taken and sufficient. Clean in the official, beautiful in the vulgar, is for the blessing of the people". He hoped that the magistrates here would be as clean as water, and the people would be as simple as water, and that this clear water would nourish and benefit one party.
More than 800 years have passed, Jian'an Academy has been abandoned several times, and Genquanjing is still in the academy for people to pay tribute to the legacy of the ancestors.
The descendants of the elder live in Jianou
In the sixth year of Qingyuan in the Southern Song Dynasty (1200), Zhu Xi, the "pseudo-academic leader" who was caught in the party dispute, died of illness. And the story of him and Jianzhou is still being written.
Zhu Xi settled in Jianyang in his later years, but he had a soft spot for Jianzhou. On the occasion of his death, Zhu Xi warned his descendants to live in Jianzhou forever. After Zhu Xi's death, his descendants strictly followed the ancestral teachings, lived in the world, and spread their branches.

In the third year of Song Baoqing (1227), Song Lizong Zhun Gong built the Zhu Wen Gong Ancestral Hall in Qin, Jianzhou, which was the ancestral temple of Zhu Zi and opened the precedent of Zhu Zi's family sacrifice. In the second year of Song Jiaxi (1238), Emperor Lizong of the Song Dynasty gave the "Jian'an Academy" to build the "Jian'an Academy", which extensively collected, sorted, engraved and taught Zhu Zi's anthologies and thoughts. In the sixth year of Ming Jingtai (1455), the imperial court awarded Zhu Zi's ninth grandson Zhu Zhen the hereditary doctor of the Five Classics of the Hanlin Academy, and gave the construction of the Doctor of the Five Classics, thus opening the annual Spring and Autumn official sacrifice ceremony of Zhu Zi.
Jian'ou Zhu Temple Zhu Mansion is the spiritual home and ancestral pilgrimage place of the descendants of Zhu Zi and the Zhu family in the world.
In this world, Zhu Zi "returned" to revive Jian'ou

"Millennium Jianzhou • Famous City of Science", this is the brand positioning given by Jian'ou City to urban development. In recent years, the Jian'ou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have carried out the five projects of "protection, academic, dissemination, education and exchange" of Zhuzi culture, focusing on the protection of Zhuzi's relics, accelerating the construction of 12 ancient city protection and development projects focusing on the repair and restoration of Wengongzu Temple, Wujing Doctor's Mansion and Jian'an Academy, and 21 science relics projects such as Huanxi Jingshe and Huaguazhou, so as to promote the materialization, activation and secularization of Zhuzi culture, and continue to expand the influence of Jian'ou Zhuzi as the orthodox birthplace of science.
Nowadays, Zhuzi culture is "new", "lively", and "hot", and it has deep roots and endless growth in the thousand-year-old Jianzhou.
