Dayao Village is located 30 kilometers east of Hohhot, the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Dayao Village has a long history, the ruins of the Dayao Paleolithic Manufacturing Farm found here, after the research of experts and scholars, are about 700,000 to 10,000 years ago, and are important cultural sites of the rare Paleolithic Era at home and abroad. In 1979, the site was officially named "Dayao Culture" by the Ministry of Culture.

According to public information, the site of the "Great Kiln Culture" is the earliest and largest ancient stone tool manufacturing site discovered in China so far. The site covers an area of more than 3 million square meters, while the actual area of cultural monuments reaches 1.7 million square meters. Archaeologists have studied that this Dayao cultural site coexists with the world-famous "Peking people" of Zhoukoudian in China.
Despite its long history, the villagers who used to live here were poor and had to rely on extensive crop cultivation and breeding to survive, most of the young people went out to work, and the resident villagers were basically elderly.

By chance, Sullivan, the secretary of Dayao Village, learned about graffiti art and set out to build Dayao Village into "the world's largest graffiti art village". Today, the original brick walls of Dayao Village have been painted with graffiti works with different styles. Covering an area of 474 acres, covering the residential area of Dayao Village south of Provincial Highway 105, the graffiti project is currently applying for world records and has passed the preliminary examination.
Behind every graffiti work, there is a story. Because of the graffiti works, Dayao Village has gradually become popular in the local area, and even become a new Internet celebrity punch card, and many tourists have specially driven here to take photos with graffiti works. In addition, the "Flower World" of Dayao Village also includes 145 acres of flower fields and flower seas and amusement areas; the planting of 300 acres of Hangzhou white chrysanthemums, 200 acres of rape flowers, as well as peonies, ornamental flowers, etc., not only attract tourists, but also directly drive the villagers to employ more than 100 person-times, increasing the income of villagers by more than 9,000 yuan. The sale of fresh Hangzhou white chrysanthemum and Hangzhou white chrysanthemum processing products has also increased the collective economic income of Dayao Village, so that the collective economic development of the village has continued to grow and develop.
