There is a student, who jumped all the way to the primary and secondary school stages, and was admitted to college with excellent results at the age of 16, the smallest in the class but the best grades;
There is a doctoral supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, only 32 years old, who is the youngest doctoral supervisor and professor in the history of the Optoelectronic Research Institute, similar to the age of the students he brought;
There is a female scientist of the Beidou navigation system, but at a young age, she provoked the position of the chief designer of the Beidou satellite subsystem and became a Hero of beidou.
She is the satellite navigation and positioning technology expert known as the "Beidou Goddess" - Xu Ying. The growth path of this post-80s technical backbone has attracted the attention of many people.

Xu Ying was born in 1983 in Renshou County, Sichuan. From an early age, she was full of curiosity about science. Since her mother is a teacher and her father is a technician, Xu Ying, who comes from an intellectual family, has been systematically learning under the guidance of her parents since she was a child. When she first entered elementary school, she already had a solid foundation in various subjects, and her grades were always among the best.
Slowly, she felt that the knowledge of elementary school was too simple for her, so she jumped all the way to junior high school at the age of 10. In this way, at the age of 16, she had already taken the college entrance examination and was admitted to the communication major of Beijing Information Science and Technology University with a good score of 612 points.
This is an ordinary undergraduate university, but its communication major is the school's dominant major. After entering the university, Xu Ying is the youngest person in the department, coupled with the great difficulty of communication majors, many theories are obscure and difficult to understand, and there are great requirements for the basic disciplines of mathematics and science. However, Xu Ying did not have any fear of this.
Perhaps the newborn calf is not afraid of tigers, Xu Ying devoted herself to professional learning, and after a semester, she actually won the first place in the major in every homework. In her sophomore year, she also participated in the electronic design competition held in the city and won the first prize in Beijing.
In 2003, after graduating from university, Xu Ying was admitted to the graduate school of Beijing Institute of Technology, and continued to study communication engineering. Unlike an undergraduate in an ordinary university, Beijing Polytechnic is a "985 Project" and a "double first-class" famous school, where Xu Ying is like a fish in the water and has the opportunity to contact the forefront of communication technology.
It was here that she began to associate with Beidou satellite navigation.

During her graduate studies, Xu Ying had the privilege of following her mentor into China's Beidou satellite navigation program.
Xu Ying was specializing in signal and information processing technology, which was the most cutting-edge topic in the communications industry at that time, and happened to be one of the key technologies of the Beidou system. At that time, she was mainly responsible for the production of receivers, and the whole research process was always with great interest and devoted herself to technical research.
In 2009, she was awarded a doctorate. Since she was exposed to the Beidou project during her graduate studies, she successfully entered the Optoelectronic Research Institute affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences as an assistant researcher and continued to conduct research on the Beidou system. At this time, Xu Ying, but 26 years old, can be regarded as young and promising.
Capable and platform, Xu Ying fully exerted her talents here, and three years later she was rated as an associate professor by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and entrusted with a heavy responsibility - as the chief designer of the Beidou satellite subsystem.
In order to do a good job in this topic, Xu Ying constantly consulted the data, tried to design again and again, tested and improved again and again, and finally completed the project after repeated deduction and verification. Later, she participated in the completion of China's first low-orbit satellite test, on the basis of the original communication capabilities, added the balance stage of the filter and other technologies, greatly improving the performance of the entire system.
Due to her excellent scientific research achievements, Xu Ying has been the doctoral supervisor of the Institute of Optoelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences since January 2015, at the age of 32. Her graduate students were only three or four years younger than her, and they were deeply impressed by her scientific achievements and research style.

In June 2020, the last networking satellite of Beidou-3 completed the launch task, and China's Beidou satellite navigation system completed the final deployment, which can begin to provide more accurate navigation services for people around the world. The efforts of Xu Ying and other researchers finally reaped full results at this time.
In the whole process, Xu Ying's great efforts are far beyond the imagination of ordinary people. She has been like a day for more than ten years, regardless of cold and summer, paying her youth for the Beidou system, and at the same time letting her youth bloom with colorful light.
So far, Xu Ying has published 24 papers in sci, a well-known journal at home and abroad, ranking among the first-class echelons of scientific research and becoming an expert in satellite navigation and positioning technology.
Xu Ying said that in doing scientific research, we should not always emphasize "giving up a small family for everyone", but more should complete our personal dreams under the excellent scientific research conditions provided by the state, and at the same time contribute to the country, which is actually a "win-win" thing.
Yes, it is a very happy thing that a person can contribute to the development of the country while growing up.
Probably because she is too involved in the cause of science and technology, Xu Ying is still single. It is said that a person standing on a higher height can see a better scenery. We all hope that Xu Ying can see the person who matches herself at her own height, so that she can more safely contribute to science.
