On July 30, in the Northeast Tiger Park in Jilin Province, located in Changchun, the sub-adult female giant panda "Chu Xin" ushered in her third birthday and received a birthday gift carefully prepared by the park. In August 2018, "Chu Xin", who had just turned two years old, and another female giant panda, "Muyun", came to Changchun from Sichuan to settle down, and they became the first pair of long-term sub-adult giant pandas in China's high-latitude areas. The introduction of these two giant pandas has helped China accumulate experience in raising giant pandas at high latitudes.
