According to the data, the Baoxing Gebird is an endemic species in China, distributed in Inner Mongolia, Beijing, Hebei, Gansu, Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan, Shandong, Zhejiang and other places, inhabiting the mountain coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest and coniferous forest at an altitude of 1200-3500m.
Gu Lei said that the Baoxing songbird originally "settled" in the mountainous area, but there are special cases, there are sporadic birds that will "drift" to other places for some reason, and this is the case of the Baoxing songbird that appears in slender West Lake, but this kind of situation is not common.
