As she walked through the forest, the winter air biting at her skin, she couldn't help but feel an unbecoming daze. It had been a long journey to get here, to this remote and desolate place. And for what? To seek revenge? To satisfy some vendetta? She shook her head, forcing herself to focus on the task at hand.
