Nanning, December 16 (Yu Jing) Nanning Metro Line 5 officially opened for trial operation on the 16th, and citizens can experience intelligent subway traffic services.

On the same day, the first phase of Nanning Rail Transit Line 5 (hereinafter referred to as "Rail Transit Line 5") was opened for trial operation, which is the first fully automatic subway line in Guangxi. At this point, Nanning has become the seventh city in the country to open a fully automatic subway line.

According to the Nanning Rail Transit Group, the rail transit line 5 opened this time has a total length of 20.2 kilometers, with a total of 17 stations, and the line starts from Guokai Avenue Station in the south to Jinqiao Passenger Station in the north, which is the backbone line connecting the southwest and northeast directions of Nanning. The line adopts GOA4 level design and construction, and uses new technologies such as automatic operation system, BIM technology, and smart station, with a total of 24 trains, a maximum design speed of 80 km / h, 232 train seats, a capacity of 1464 passengers, a maximum passenger capacity of up to 2080 people, and a pilot construction of smart stations in Guangxi University Station and Xiaoji Village to provide efficient and convenient intelligent services for the general public.

Nanning Metro Line 5 adheres to innovative breakthroughs in engineering construction and operation management, and Line 5 adopts the first air cushion inline double-mode shield machine in China, which smoothly passes through the old building complex, the Mudstone Formation of the Yongjiang River and the existing operating lines, and overcomes the engineering difficulties of the new mode of fully automatic operation of the subway construction mode and high safety requirements. The smart station system realizes real-time statistical analysis of the passenger flow of the station, and automatically adjusts the system equipment such as lighting, broadcasting, elevators, and automatic ticket sales to help passenger personnel cope with the peak of passenger flow.

In 2021, the passenger traffic of Nanning Metro will account for about 59.5% of the public transport passenger traffic in Nanning, and the passenger flow will increase significantly, and the urban public transport system with rail transit as the backbone will become increasingly obvious. (End)
