The new version of the "Provisions on the Responsibility for Repair and Replacement of Household Automobile Products" will be officially implemented from January 1, 2022.
The new regulations clearly point out that if a family car needs to replace the engine, transmission, power battery, driving drive motor or its main parts due to quality problems within 7 days from the date of the validity period of the three guarantees, the seller shall replace or return the car free of charge according to the choice of the consumer;
When the seller returns or replaces the car for the consumer, it shall compensate the consumer for the loss of vehicle registration fee, decoration fee, related service fee, etc.;
The quality problems of special components such as power batteries and driving drive motors will be included in the three-pack return and replacement clause;
Implement three packages for household pickup trucks, and include the main components of household vehicle pollution control devices in the return and replacement clauses for major quality problems.
The new "three guarantees" policy has increased the three guarantees of electric vehicles and clarified the responsible subjects of imported car dealers
The new policy also clarifies that if one of the following circumstances occurs during the validity period of the three guarantees for household automobile products, and the consumer chooses to replace the household automobile products or return the goods with the car purchase invoice or the three guarantee vouchers, the seller shall replace or return the goods:
(1) Where repairs have been made twice due to serious safety performance failures, but the faults have not been ruled out or new serious safety performance failures have arisen;
(2) The engine, transmission, power battery, and driving drive motor have been replaced twice due to their quality problems, and they still cannot be used normally;
(3) The same major parts of the engine, transmission, power battery, driving drive motor, steering system, brake system, suspension system, transmission system, pollution control device, and body are replaced twice due to quality problems, and still cannot be used normally;
(4) The cumulative repair time due to quality problems exceeds 30 days, or the cumulative repair time due to the same quality problems exceeds 4 times.

It is reported that the revised Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses and the Measures for the Administration of Scoring points for Road Traffic Safety Violations will be implemented from April 1, 2022, and the revised Regulations on the Registration of Motor Vehicles will be implemented from May 1, 2022.
