The Yellow River flows for thousands of years, in ancient times there were many Yellow River crossings, located in Yongji City, Shanxi Province, on the east bank of the Yellow River, there is the ancient world-famous Yellow River ferry Pujin Ferry. This is the main traffic route between the ancient Qin and Jin Dynasties, and many pontoon bridges were built here. The most famous pontoon bridge is a pontoon bridge built during the first century of the Tang Dynasty.

This pontoon bridge was used for 500 years, from the Tang Dynasty to the Song Dynasty. It is said that when you have eight iron bulls on this pontoon bridge, they jointly support the weight of the pontoon. In fact, the reason why the pontoon bridge was abandoned in the Yuan Dynasty was not because of the quality problem of the pontoon bridge, but because the Yellow River was diverted. The pontoon bridge and the iron bull were submerged in the mud and sand of the Yellow River.

By 1988, after a year of exploration, the Yongji City Museum had really found the Yellow River Iron Bull. It suddenly attracted the attention of the whole country. A total of four iron bulls have been unearthed, and the whereabouts of the other four are still a mystery. These four iron bulls, from the Tang Dynasty to today, have a history of more than 1500 years, but it still has no rust on its body, which reflects the superb food casting iron craftsmanship of the Tang Dynasty.

Now it attracts many tourists, just to appreciate the honor of the iron bull of the Tang Dynasty. The ancient city of Yongji was actually called Puzhou. It is also a fast-growing tourist city in Shanxi. The Pushou Temple in "The Tale of the West Chamber" is on the Emei Temple, which also belongs to the tourism scope of Puzhou. What do you think?
