NFT assets have been very popular this year, with NFT sales of 100 collectibles to date exceeding $20 billion. While many individual NFTs sell for millions of dollars, many NFT projects and collections have reached hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars in turnover. According to defillama.com indicators, the total trading volume of the popular NFT collection Cryptopunks reached $2.98 billion.

Data from defillama.com tracks 100 NFT series, and to date, the total sales of these specific NFT series are $20.13 billion.

The 100 NFT collections exceed $20 billion

NFTs originate from blockchains such as Ethereum, Solana, Immutablex, Binance Smart Chain, Arbitrum, and Terra. The largest project with the largest volume is the Cryptopunks series, which has a total volume of $2.98 billion and 3,286 owners. Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) ranks second with 5,961 captains and $1.04 billion in all-time turnover.

The tenth largest volume belongs to Punks Comic, with $181.46 million and 5,912 owners. Following Punks Comic, other notable NFT series include Clone X ($154.55 million), Cyberkongz ($151.26 million), Veefriends ($130.47 million), Doodles ($121.89 million), Creature World ($115.19 million), RTFKT ($93.88 million) $66.4 million), and Town Star ($65.7 million), Gutter Cat Gang ($61.6 million) and Rumble Kong League ($52.6 million).

Town Star, Parallel Alpha, The Sandbox Assets, Adidas Originals NFT have the most owners

The NFT project with the most owners listed on the NFT Metrics page of defillama.com is Town Star, with 31,721 owners. Parallel Alpha has 30,250 owners, The Sandbox asset has 22,387 owners, Adidas Originals has 18,869 owners, and sandbox virtual universe has 17,315 owners.

Adidas Originals is a fairly new NFT project that sold $38.3 million in a very short period of time. At the time of writing, the base price of the Adidas Originals NFT series is around $3,523. The Bored Ape Yacht Club has the highest floor price at $193,000, followed by the Inft Personality Pod Sale at $79,173. At the time of writing, the lowest reserve series is levana Dragons, which sells for $12.00.
