First of all, the materials for making the Holy Will can be divided into five products, one is a jade shaft, two are black rhino horn shafts, three products are gold shafts, and four and five products are bull horn shafts. Because many of the relatively old sacred decrees of the "literal hell" of various dynasties have disappeared from history, not many can be handed down.
In 1998, the Xi'an Evening News published a message that there was a fisherman named Zhang Zhenhua who had preserved a whole nine holy wills in his home. For a moment, thousands of waves were stirred up, and people wondered what kind of background Zhang Zhenhua's family really was, and how could there be so many holy wills? Even many experts have personally come to understand the situation, which is really not simple.
Zhang Zhenhua's family lives in Zhongfengdian Village, Doumen Town, Chang'an County, Shaanxi Province, and his ancestors are famous and prestigious families in the whole of Shaanxi. His ancestor Zhang Pengcheng was a deputy general during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty. After the fall of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Pengcheng once again served as the commander-in-chief of the Ningguo Government in the chujiang south, and his descendants also continued his position, mostly as military generals, and the highest official was Zhi Yipin.
From the end of the Ming Dynasty to Shunzhi, Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong, Jiaqing, Daoguang after hundreds of years, although the descendants of the Zhang family are not enough to be called evergreen trees, they are also firmly rooted in the official field for a hundred years. These fifteen sacred wills were the heirlooms of their Zhang family, but for various reasons, six of them had been lost, and now only nine sacred wills remained. When Zhang Zhenhua was 30 years old, his father passed on all the nine sacred wills in his hand to him, and told him that he must be well-preserved, and these nine sacred wills were the lifeblood of their old Zhang family.
Zhang Zhenhua has been hiding in the lower floor of the bedroom box for fear of being stolen, until 1998, Zhang Zhenhua gave the family heirloom to several friends who love to collect to watch, and the news of his family's collection of the holy will also went away, many media came to Zhang Zhenhua's home, hoping to see the style of the holy will, Zhang Zhenhua resigned several times, so he lit up the holy will.
Many experts also came to Zhang Zhenhua's home, saw these well-preserved holy wills and nodded, calling them "priceless treasures", so the experts of the cultural relics department consulted with Zhen Zhenhua, hoping that Zhang Zhenhua could hand over these nine holy wills to the cultural relics museum for exhibition, and the proceeds obtained from the exhibition could be shared equally with Zhang Zhenhua.
After obtaining his father's consent, Zhang Zhenhua did not have too much prevarication, and from 1998 onwards, Zhang Zhenhua's holy will began to appear in major exhibition halls, until December 26, 2002, when the accident still happened. Qing Yan Yuan borrowed these nine sacred wills from Zhang Zhenhua, but at the end of the exhibition, he accidentally lost two sacred wills.
These two even one is from the Daoguang year and one is from the Jiaqing period, which is extremely precious. Because Zhang Zhenhua was involved in the protection of the Holy Will during the exhibition in Qingyan Garden, he was accused of "guarding and stealing", and it was not until September 2007 that he was completely dismissed from suspicion, and Zhang Zhenhua immediately took Qingyanyuan to court.
Zhang Zhenhua demanded economic compensation at the market price of 400,000 yuan, which is still a conservative valuation. However, the appraisal experts' appraisal value of these two holy wills was less than 100,000 yuan, and in the end, Zhang Zhenhua only received 90,000 yuan in compensation, while the remaining 7 holy wills, Zhang Zhenhua said that he would never take out the permanent collection again for exhibition.
