Although the road test spy photos of the 2023 Porsche Cayenne (Cayenne) indicate that the new car will be launched before the end of this year, Porsche has not given up the development of the 2022 Cayenne. Recently, the German automaker announced the official picture of the 2022 Cayenne Platinum Edition, which is also the second Platinum Edition of Porsche in 2022 after the Panamera Platinum Edition. The car is currently open for pre-order in the U.S. market and will be officially delivered this summer, starting at $79,000 (about 501,800 yuan).

Like the Panamera Platinum Edition, the Cayenne Platinum Edition comes with a unique look and extra features that distinguish the Platinum Edition from the Regular Edition. Exteriorly, the logo of the Platinum Cayenne at the front and rear of the vehicle is detailed in satin platinum, and the logo on the 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels is also made of satin platinum, which is unique to this special edition model. Compared with the regular version, the platinum version also includes the addition of black exhaust pipes and high-gloss black window decorations.

In terms of interior, the model has added the "Platinum Edition" logo on the seat belt and the edge of the aluminum brushed sill bag to fully indicate the unique identity of the car. Parts of the car's instrument panels are also decorated with aluminium brushed panels, along with Porsche's signature shield on the headrests. Other standard features include LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Lighting, panoramic sunroof, Bose surround sound system, ambient lighting and 8-way adjustable sports seats. In addition, Porsche's custom department offers a wide range of interior and exterior customization options for Platinum models.

In terms of power, the car is no different from the ordinary version, The Cayenne version is equipped with a 3.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 250 kW (340 hp), the Cayenne E-Hybrid version is equipped with a hybrid system consisting of a 2.0T engine and a 100 kW electric motor, with a combined maximum power of 284 kW (386 hp), while the performance-biased CayenneS is equipped with a 2.9 T twin-turbo engine with a maximum power of 324 kW (440 hp).
