In today's women's volleyball world, there are only four national team coaches who can be called famous coaches, and they are Lang Ping, who leads the Chinese women's volleyball team to create glory, The American women's volleyball team coach Kilari, the Brazilian veteran Coach Guimarães and the Serbian famous coach Terjic. In the last two Olympic cycles, these four people have wrestled with wits and courage on the field, winning and losing each other, and are both opponents and friends.

The reason why these four people are called world famous coaches is because since the 2012 London Olympics, the champions of the previous major competitions have been divided by the teams led by these four people, and no other team has been able to touch the championship. Among them, the 2012 London Olympic champion belongs to Brazil coached by Guimarães; the 2014 World Championships and the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games, Kirari led the American team to the top twice; and the 2018 World Championships, Terdzic led Serbia to the end; the most successful of the four was Lang Ping, the 2015 World Cup, the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and the 2019 World Cup, the Chinese women's volleyball team led by Lang Ping was crowned three times. Lang Ping, who has achieved fame but has regrets, has recently served as a member of the Chinese women's volleyball team selection expert group and has decided not to renew his term as the coach of the Chinese team. Terdyc, who ended the title of uncrowned king of Serbia, also decided to break up with the Serbian national team on January 17. As for who the successors of the two men are, it is unclear.
Guimarães renewed his contract
Unlike Lang Ping and Terdyc, the other two coaches have chosen to renew their contracts. On November 11, 2021, the U.S. Volleyball Association officially announced the renewal of Kirari's contract until the end of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Earlier, on October 15, Brazil confirmed that Guimarães will continue to take charge of the national team and will lead the Brazilian women's volleyball team to complete the Paris Olympic Games.
From Rio to Tokyo, we have witnessed four famous coaches gathered on the field to compete in the same field. But three years later, at the Paris Olympics, we are sure that we will not see the four famous coaches compete in the same scene again. This is a big pity for veteran volleyball fans.
