In terms of specific models, Tesla Model 3 sold more than 500,000 units in the whole year, and it became the best-selling pure electric model for four consecutive years. In second place was the Wuling Hongguang MINI EV, with annual sales of 424,000 units; in third place was the Tesla Model Y, with annual sales of more than 410,000 units.
In the list of the top ten models, there are five other Chinese models, namely BYD Qin Plus DM-i, Ideal ONE, BYD Han EV, BYD Song Pro/Plus DM-i, and Changan Benben E-Star.
From another point of view, models from China occupy six of the top ten lists, completely "sealed the gods", of which BYD exclusively occupies 3 Xi, which is a veritable leading brand of new energy vehicles in the mainland.
In addition, Tesla sold more than 936,000 vehicles in the whole year, ranking first among new energy vehicle manufacturers, which is also the fourth consecutive year that the brand has won this award. BYD and SAIC-GM-Wuling ranked second and third, with sales of 593878 and 456123 vehicles respectively.
