In the main game, Tiktum got off to a good start, completing successive overtaking in the initial stage and quickly improving multiple positions. However, due to the damage to the car, it failed to extend the opening advantage and finally finished the race in the eighteenth place. Meanwhile, Oliver, who was also the last starter, was caught up in a motivating struggle with Sette Camara, Giovinazzi, Askew and Dennis in the race. In this race, the NIO333FE team adopted a different strategy for Oliver than Dan, the former needed to strictly control energy management while trying to surpass. In the end, with excellent strategy execution and rich game experience, Oliver worked hard at the end of the game, rising to fourteenth place on the final lap and remaining until the end of the game.

Oliver Turvey

NIO333FE 001 #3:

"We tested the car a lot in practice but it was still very tough in qualifying. For the main race, our strategy was to save as much energy as possible at the beginning of the race and build up enough energy buffer in the race, so in the second half of the race, I was able to have enough confidence to overtake the car in front and finally finish fourteenth, with a reasonable energy management strategy, I feel that we have the potential to strive for better results. We did learn a lot after today, it was a wonderful game and we are still learning and working hard for the next game. ”

Dan Ticktum

NIO333FE 001 #33

"It was another tough weekend, but in fact we did make progress today. I started well in the race, and if it weren't for some problems with the car, I think I would have had more opportunities. We continue to improve, so look forward to our game in Rome. ”

Russell O'Hagan,

NIO333FE Team Executive Team Leader

"The Mexico stop was impressive, with so many fans watching and having some interaction with the team and it was really nice to see so many enthusiastic fans sharing their passion for FE and the drivers.

We didn't get the desired result in qualifying, which created a challenge for the following regular race. Therefore, we have developed a more decisive strategy for the main game. In the main race, both cars started fairly well, but Tiktum suffered damage to the car at the beginning, which hindered his further performance. For Tver, we took a very bold strategy early on to save energy. We made a big bet on the top 10 and while there were no more breakouts in the last few laps, we were close. Even so, today's achievements are a powerful reward for the team's continued hard work. ”
