But my Volvo XC60 (hereinafter referred to as "XC60") has caused a lot of problems during this time. Driving such an "old car" of more than 60,000 kilometers is not "old" to normal family cars that travel 10,000 kilometers per year, it is also the age of the "young adults", and there is no lack of daily maintenance and annual maintenance. But even so, this XC60 is still more or less faulty, and it began to "burn out" during this Spring Festival.
The first is the fuel consumption, which I think is a bit higher than before. Putting aside the objective factors, from the perspective of daily driving fuel consumption, the dashboard display data is basically above 12L/100km fuel consumption level, sometimes even beyond this range. In short, the frequency of this car entering the gas station has begun to increase recently, and it also feels that the fuel consumption is high.
The second is the difficulty of cold start. I live in the south, especially in this winter morning, press the ignition button to start the car, you can obviously hear the XC60 'coughing", its ignition is no longer as agile and crisp as the previous new car, the moment before the car can still hear the extra delay sound, I know it has reached the time of maintenance.
The third point is engine shaking, which is the most complex problem that the XC60 is currently facing. In the urban road driving state, after the cold start of the engine in the morning, the vehicle begins to become unstable, open the lid to see that the fuselage body shakes too much, and the foot begins to vibrate with it, thus transmitting to the steering wheel, and the noise in the cockpit also increases. After more than half a minute of "warming up in place", the idle speed became stable, or after driving for a certain distance, its jitter state gradually decreased, but the engine in this state did not have any alarm prompts. And during the Spring Festival outing, especially in the high-speed road driving conditions, about the speed of the car to maintain at 120km / h, on this road its operation is like a cylinder body does not work, the power output will be slightly delayed, the body can also feel that its shaking is still there (from time to time it feels like driving a tractor), plus the rear wheel is punctured by nails and leaks There is a tire pressure alarm, so the speed is also reduced to 90-100km/h. When you go down to the service area to rest, open the lid, which is accompanied by pungent smoke coming out, and the dashboard jumps out to show: "No oil pressure Please stop the engine". I thought I wouldn't just lie down like this....... Therefore, this journey down the road should not mention more trouble.
Another one is the engine carbon deposit. This is very common and well understood, that is, under the accumulated driving of the car, the gasoline is not burned completely in the cylinder and the scorching substance is generated, and the attachment to the intake and exhaust of the cylinder will lead to a decrease in vehicle performance. Charcoal accumulation is also a cliché, so it is too much to repeat. And my XC60, it was only when I checked the interior of the engine that I learned that the second cylinder had the most serious carbon deposit.
Finally, there is the oil leakage of engine components, which is also the most imperceptible problem in ordinary cars, but it is also crucial. It is really not easy to detect the inside of the body without being diligent, and when disassembling, it is found that the oil of each component is leaking. There is oil leakage in the turbocharger, oil leakage in timing belts and chains, oil leakage after the lift lift lifts the chassis... So this series of oil spill problems is really quite a lot.
Maintenance and repair summary

So far, this XC60 has also accompanied me and my family for more than 6 years, and overall I am very satisfied with its performance. For example, this car has abundant power, chassis tuning is still very European car, tough, not loose, active safety configuration is not to say....... So I also have confidence in my daily driving. After the previous week's repair into the factory, the current state of the XC60 is also "supported", and all aspects of the car have become responsive, the engine is running smoothly, the gear change is smooth, and the driving state is good.
For such an XC60 that is in the "young adult", the body parts have been run-in, and some parts have reached its replacement life cycle. It is also in this stage of car use, daily maintenance and attention to daily car conditions are beyond reproach, every time the car is driven into the repair shop, it is also a process of deepening mutual understanding.
