Since 2021, our county has put into use 1 particulate matter lidar, MORE THAN 40 VOCs emergency navigation monitoring vehicles, 34 straw burning ban monitoring points, and more than 400 third-party inspectors. In accordance with the key points of water pollution prevention and control work, our county has effectively strengthened the protection of water bodies, promoted the improvement of water quality through engineering measures such as pollution interception and ecological water replenishment, and achieved emission reduction goals. In the county's large construction project database, 43 water-related engineering projects are separately proposed as key environmental pollution prevention and control projects in the county, and a scheduling mechanism is implemented. Up to now, 43 water-related projects have completed 21 projects; there are 12 existing urban sewage treatment plants in our county, and after bidding and pipe network transformation, the current urban life and production wastewater into the urban sewage treatment plant treatment rate is 100%. All 12 urban sewage treatment plants have installed online monitoring equipment, and the PH value, COD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, and flow discharge are monitored in real time through the monitoring platform to ensure the stable discharge of wastewater.
Strictly protect drinking water sources. The county ecological environment sub-bureau will take the lead in regularly supervising environmental safety issues such as boundary piles, signs, and warning signs in the first and second level protection areas of the five township centralized drinking water source protection areas to ensure the safety of drinking water sources in the county. Relevant townships and towns have carried out the preparation of emergency plans for drinking water quality.
Prevent water pollution in industrial agglomeration areas. Promote the efficiency of sewage collection and treatment in the park, prevent water environmental risks, and carry out regular inspections of the operation of enterprise wastewater treatment facilities and the diversion of rainwater and sewage. For the problems found in the inspection, the enterprise is urged to correct them immediately, and those suspected of violating the law are not soft. Since 2021, our county has filed and investigated 4 cases of violations of the water-related environment.
Strengthen the control of cyanobacteria in Chaohu Lake. The problem of cyanobacteria in Chaohu Lake has always been a hot issue of concern to the people, and the relevant departments and townships along the lake have formulated the salvage plan and emergency plan for cyanobacteria in Chaohu Lake, and established a three-level grid in the county and village, including 1 first-level grid, 2 second-level grids, and 8 third-level grids; 1 fixed cyanobacteria treatment station and 2 sets of mobile magnetic fishing and salvage platforms have been built. Since 2021, 8302 salvage personnel and 5260 salvage vessels have been dispatched, a total of 667014 tons of algal slurry have been salvaged, and 4172.57 tons of algae residue have been transported
Give full play to the early warning role of monitoring. Monitoring sections have been added to key rivers such as the Pai River, Fengle River, and Hangbu River, and the tributaries and outlets of the inlet rivers have been measured twice a week, and the 27 rivers and 18 reservoirs in the county have been sampled and monitored at least once a month, and the data and water quality analysis reports have been reported and dispatched. Use water quality monitoring data to guide the direction of investigation, clarify key prevention and control areas, and assess the effectiveness of environmental pollution prevention and control projects. Regularly monitor important rivers, reservoirs, and drinking water sources in the county every month, and include key water-related enterprises in the county into the scope of monitoring, and regularly release surface water early warning information and pollution source anomaly information.
