According to Wu Xuan, deputy head of the technical support group, when rescuing the villages affected by the "6.20" flash flood, Wu Aijun drove his own van to support and transport kayaks and rescue tools because the rescue team's public vehicle was carrying out other rescue missions. But when there were still miles left to reach the village waiting for rescue, the car was blocked by a deep pool of water. As a woman, even if the clothes on her body are soaked and uncomfortable, Xu Weiping has to wait until she returns to the locker room of the rescue team dozens of kilometers away before she can change into dry clothes. It was also that night that Xu Weiping started a fever, but she still did not rest and continued to participate in the rescue operation.

Just as they were about to help move boxes of supplies to the lobby of the village committee, the team members heard from the staff of the village committee that there was an elderly man with bad legs and feet who needed to be transferred on the mountain two kilometers away.

The turbulent water rushed down the dirt road, which was only about 30 centimeters wide, and the road was full of rocks washed down by the torrent. There were four landslides on the two-kilometer mountain road, one of which was particularly severe, with more than a dozen pine trees mixed with mud blocking the entire road. The team members could only bend down and hold on to the tree and pass with difficulty. Sharp pine needles, even a brief touch while supporting the body, can puncture the palm. Not to mention the rain-soaked mud between the trees, which can easily slip and fall down the hill if you step on it.
