Recently, the Russo-Ukrainian war has aroused global concern, the Ukrainian people under the smoke of gunfire have aroused the concern of global public opinion, and most netizens, including the Chinese people, have deep sympathy for the tragic encounters of innocent civilians in the war, but the reality of "the forest is big and there are birds" has been decided, and there are always a few netizens who will "shake their wits" and "try to speak fast" at this time, and issue vicious remarks such as "Welcome Ukrainian beauties to China" and "Welcome Ukrainian little brothers to China" in a ridiculous and abusive tone.

Although such remarks are not as vicious as Western public opinion's ridicule of Ukraine as the "European womb", it is self-evident that in the moment of crisis in Ukraine, if it is seen by the Ukrainian people, it is self-evident that it will bring them a negative impression. Therefore, such remarks should be resolutely opposed, whether or not they have been disseminated in the Ukrainian public opinion field.

However, we should also pay attention to another reality, how did individual extreme information in the Chinese world be hyped into the Ukrainian public opinion field? In fact, such remarks are not just posted by individual netizens Chinese mainland, as shown in the following screenshot, a number of foreign accounts, including Taiwan accounts, have posted similar information:

It can be seen that this kind of information is not unique to the Chinese mainland public opinion field, but why did the spearhead end up all pointing to "China"? After the China Straits Research Institute (Hong Kong) traced the source, the information was released through an account with an ID of @MeMeTaiWan on the overseas Twitter platform.

The account with the ID of @Karwan70446933 was then translated into English, which triggered the first wave of attention. Later, a website with a domain name of supchina.com used this public opinion as a gimmick to publish an article titled "Some Chinese men express their horniness for potential Ukrainian refugees, to the disgust of netizens", directing all the targets to Chinese netizens.

This kind of information was then introduced to the Chinese circle in Ukraine, and caused some Chinese to be vigilant, many people posted this information on the Microblog platform of the Chinese mainland, of which the Information Point released by the Weibo ID I0nGnnn-account (currently unable to search for the account) exploded the public opinion field, receiving more than 60,000 forwards, nearly 500,000 likes, and tens of millions of reads. At the same time, the relevant information released by the QQ space ID for the account of @Niudao Ruoli has also received more than 15 million retweets among specific youth groups.

This triggered public opinion. Subsequently, the Weibo platform quickly disposed of 74 accounts that published vulgar remarks, demonstrating the attitude of Chinese mainland actively maintaining a healthy and clear cyberspace.

Observing the data, it is not difficult to find that after @MeMeTaiWan and @Karwan70446933 released information on the overseas Twitter platform, they only received more than 200 turns and more than 400 likes, which is not a "hot post", and in the context of the war of mass concern, it is not possible to trigger mass sentiment in Ukraine.

It was precisely after the detonation of the Chinese mainland that it entered the field of global public opinion. Looking back at the entire process of public opinion fermentation, MeMeTaiWan and Karwan70446933, as well as supchina.com are the initiators of the dissemination of this information.

After a public information search, it was found that MeMeTaiWan is a Taiwan-related account, and in addition to a lot of interaction with Taiwan accounts, its dialogue content even includes interaction with suspected 1450 accounts.

Karwan70446933 is a Xinjiang independence account:

Why are all the spearheads of the vulgar remarks involving Ukraine directed at "China"?

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, the supchina.com website has its core slogan of "Reporting on China Fearlessly." In the self-introduction content displayed to the outside world, the website advertises that "we are not pro-China or anti-China, not pro-Us nor anti-American", but it is not difficult to find that it is not difficult to find that it is basically with a skillful anti-China tendency, and the conventional mode is to report some basic facts of China in the first half, and enter the "imaginary criticism" that echoes the views of the Western media in the second half.

For example, a recent article titled "Beijing 2022 Olympics is over, how will they be remembered?" The first half of the article affirms that China has achieved the best Winter Olympics results in history, and in the second half begins to enter the criticism of "political issues" and indicts the fictitious human rights problems in Xinjiang. For example, in the article "Praising the Coolest Venue in Beijing 2022, the Big Airline Shougang", yin and yang weirdly introduced issues such as positive drug tests for the Chinese Winter Olympics and the so-called "diplomatic boycott". There are many more such "hanging sheep's heads and selling dog meat".

The reason for this operation is probably a great relationship with its founder, Anla Cheng. The daughter of a Taiwanese diplomat during the Chiang Kai-shek administration, Ms. Cheng ran the family office of centeniumCapital's Asian hedge fund and a Chinese private equity firm, Sino-Century, where she served as senior vice president of Robert Fleming (acquired by JPMorgan Chase) and investment manager at Citibank.

At present, accounts with distinct Taiwanese characteristics continue to incite this public opinion.

It is precisely under the joint impetus of Taiwan's relevant and Xinjiang independence forces and the "cooperation" of the mainland's public opinion field that "vulgar remarks involving Ukraine" have become "major negative public opinions" that have sprung up in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. The retrospection of public opinion is only to help everyone understand the fermentation process of the public opinion event, and also hopes to call on the vast number of netizens to speak rationally, on the one hand, to show the quality of the Chinese people in the new era, because today, more and more internationalized today, each of our words and deeds represents the image of China to a certain extent; on the other hand, to avoid giving opportunities to the forces of ulterior motives abroad, after all, by racking their brains to dig up the negative news of Chinese mainland, people who live by chewing human blood steamed buns, they have always been there.
