Ukraine's deputy prime minister asked Tencent, Nintendo and other manufacturers to ban the sale of games to Russia

Today, Ukraine's deputy prime minister "Mykhailo Fedorov" posted a tweet in which he said that Russia has no respect for the principles of human nature, asking 12 manufacturers, including Tencent, Nintendo, Rstar, 2K, Bandai and Konami, to ban the sale of games to Russia.

Soon, "Mykhailo Fedorov" tweeted again, claiming that Ukraine was fighting Russia heroically, not only on the front line but also in the field of network and culture. He asked platforms and companies, including Twitch, Steam and GOG, to ban Russians from participating in any esports events.

Prior to this, "Mykhailo Fedorov" issued an open letter on March 2 calling on all game manufacturers to temporarily ban the accounts of players from Russia and Belarus, prohibit esports players from these countries from participating in international esports competitions, and cancel all international events held in these countries.

At present, many overseas game companies and developers have condemned Russia's behavior and expressed support for Ukraine, in the past 2 weeks, including CDPR, Ubisoft, Techland, Bungie, 11Bit, Unity, etc. companies have made statements, or banned the sale of games and payments, or cancelled e-sports qualifications and seats, and even donated directly to the relevant Ukrainian Red Cross organizations.

As of press time, most of the companies in the list of "Mykhailo Fedorov" @ have responded and expressed their positions, and a small number of factories that have not responded yet include the only Chinese company, Tencent and Nintendo Honjia.
