Dosan: I saw the Tibetan antelope under the snowy mountains return

author:Bright Net

Moving from his hometown to Lhasa, Dosan was initially uncomfortable.

Once, his home was Rongma Township, Nyima County, Nagqu City, more than 5,000 meters above sea level, belonging to the core area of the Changtang Grassland. There, Dosan was an expert horse racing player and was always picked up to participate in horse racing in the township. When the horses galloped, looking at the herds of cattle and sheep and the vast grassland, his heart was solid and satisfied.

In 2018, Tibet implemented a very high-altitude ecological relocation project. In June, Dosan and his family moved to Gurong Township, Dulong Deqing District, Lhasa. I moved and my life got better. There are brand new houses, better infrastructure and medical conditions.

Returning to his hometown the following summer, Dosan found that many gratifying changes had taken place in his hometown. The former fence has been demolished, the former pasture has been abandoned, and the cattle and sheep that used to require Dosan herding have been incorporated into the cooperative, reducing the pressure on the pasture and reducing the number of livestock. In its place were Tibetan antelopes, rock sheep, wild yaks, wild donkeys, and hares.

"Many of the wild animals that I saw when I was a child, but have since become rarer, are now running under the Mayi Snow Mountain." Dorsan said. With the villagers moving away, 4.6779 million hectares of land here have been vacated, of which 178,200 hectares of grassland area, through the in-depth implementation of the work of returning grazing land to grassland and clearing fences, the Changtang grassland will once again become a paradise for wild animals.

In Lhasa, the government helped Dosan find a new job and perform equestrianism at the "Zhangxiong Meiduo" ecotourism and cultural industrial park , a beautiful place for outings around Lhasa. In the park, Dosan skillfully performs various difficult moves, as if returning to the teenager who rode the grassland.

Dosan said: "I can ride a horse, I can earn more, and I am satisfied with this job." In fact, the patron does not have to 'eat the mountain'. "In the new arena, he is full of confidence. Xu Yiyao
