Synopsis
tells the story of American mountaineering youth Alan Ruston (played by James Franco) who broke his arm to save himself. In May 2003, American mountaineer Alan Ruston was climbing in a canyon in Utah, because his right arm was pressed by a stone and trapped for 5 days and 5 nights, in order to escape, he endured severe pain, spent more than an hour, broke the radius and ulna, used his sports shorts as a temporary tourniquet, and then used a knife to cut off his right forearm from the elbow.
