author:Chinese Culture Network

From August 11 to 13, in order to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the conclusion of the China-Japan Treaty of Peace and Friendship, the "First China-Japan Sister Cities Youth Go Exchange Conference" was successfully held at the Shibuya Ward Office in Tokyo, Japan, sponsored by the Implementation Committee of the China-Japan Sister Cities Youth Go Exchange Conference and supported by the Chinese Tourism Office in Tokyo and other units.

During the three-day exchange event, about 150 Chinese teenagers from Shandong, Hubei, Shanghai, Tianjin, Fujian and other places competed with Japanese primary and secondary school students, a total of nearly 400 Chinese and Japanese teenagers. The young people of the two countries have deepened mutual understanding and friendship by meeting friends through chess, sowing the seeds of Sino-Japanese friendship in the hearts of Chinese and Japanese youths, and laying a broad non-governmental and social foundation for the cause of Sino-Japanese friendship.
