How to turn on teen mode
Open the WeChat App on the desktop of your phone, click "Me" in the lower right corner, click the "Settings" option at the bottom of the interface, click the "Teen Mode" option, check the "WeChat Teen Mode Feature Terms of Use", and click the "Open" option at the bottom of the interface.
Duration limits and curfew capabilities
After turning on WeChat Youth Mode, after the cumulative total time of using Channels and live streaming for 40 minutes, young users need to enter a password to extend the use time, and cannot use Channels and live streaming services from 22:00 to 6:00 the next day, and must be authorized by their guardians if they need to use them.
Content rating for teens
In teen mode, parents can set Channels to be inaccessible or allow access to teen content. After setting the "Date of Birth" and "Age-appropriate Content", you can get more suitable content recommendations.
