On June 19, 2024, the 21st meeting of the Standing Committee of the 15th District People's Congress was held.

Zhang Hesheng, director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, presided over the meeting, and a total of 23 people, including deputy directors Tan Xuewen, Fei Baorong, Xiao Guanghan, Yang Eryan and members of the Standing Committee, attended the meeting. Ma Wenliang, deputy head of the district people's government, Li Chong, deputy director of the district supervision commission, Wang Adong, president of the district people's court, and Xue Gang, chief procurator of the district people's procuratorate, attended the meeting as observers in accordance with the law. According to the needs of the topic, the heads of the district government office, the statistics bureau, the education bureau, the public security bureau, the housing and urban-rural development bureau, the health commission, the emergency management bureau, the fire brigade, and the market bureau attended the meeting as observers. The meeting conveyed and learned the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection in Shandong; Listened, deliberated and voted on the report of the Law Enforcement Inspection Team of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress on inspecting the implementation of the Regulations on the Management of Reclaimed Water in Baotou City, the Statistics Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Regulations on Promoting the Construction of a Solid Security and Stability Barrier in the Northern Territory of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region; The "Implementation Measures for Deputies to the People's Congress of the Baiyun Obo Mining Area to Meet with the Responsible Persons of State Organs", the "Report of the District People's Court on Requesting the Determination of the Number of People's Assessors of the People's Court of the Baiyun Obo Mining Area", the "Decision of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress on Approving the Number of People's Assessors of the District People's Court", and the "Report of the Qualification Review Committee of the Standing Committee of the 15th District People's Congress on the Examination of the Qualifications of Individual Deputies".

The meeting appointed one staff member of a state organ in accordance with the law. The new appointees took the constitutional oath, and Zhang Hesheng issued letters of appointment to the new appointees.
