Up to now, the construction of the main line pier of the Shengli No. 3 Road Section and the Gangyao Road Section has been completed, and the box girder construction is underway. "We will actively organize the construction force, seize the construction period of the superstructure, strengthen on-site safety management for the high-altitude operation of the pier stud and the upcoming high temperature weather, carry out risk warning in a timely manner, and make every effort to ensure the smooth and orderly progress of the project." Project manager Li Lei said.
The rapid reconstruction project of the extension section of the Yiling Yangtze River Bridge starts at the intersection of Shengli 3rd Road and Yanjiang Avenue, connects to Gangyao Road along Shengli 3rd Road to Chengdong Avenue, and extends north to the end point of Juxiang Avenue, with a total length of 5.5 kilometers.
After the completion and opening to traffic, the public can drive from the Yiling Yangtze River Bridge to the Orange Township Avenue quickly, and there is no traffic light throughout the whole process; The traffic time of Shengli 3rd Road-Chengdong Avenue-Gangyao Road will be shortened from the original peak period of 30 minutes to 5 minutes, which will greatly improve the road carrying capacity and smoothness, optimize the urban road grid bureau, and realize the rapid transportation linkage of the four major groups of Yichang Point Military District, Xiling District, Wujiagang District and Yiling District.
