On the occasion of the 37th International Anti-Drug Day, in order to prevent drug abuse among young people and give full play to the role of the "main front" of anti-drug propaganda in colleges and universities, on June 24, the Yushui District Narcotics Control Committee, Yushui Public Security Bureau, Jiangxi University of Technology, and Yushui District Culture, Radio, and New Tourism Bureau jointly launched an anti-drug publicity activity with the theme of "Escorting Youth and Staying Away from Drugs".
Yu Jianjun, member of the Standing Committee of the Yushui District Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, Xu Shilong, deputy head of the district and director of the Yushui Public Security Bureau, Shi Huanping, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of Jiangxi Institute of Technology, and more than 1,000 representatives of anti-drug police, anti-drug social workers, teachers and students participated in the event.
On behalf of the Yushui District Narcotics Control Committee, Yu Jianjun paid high tribute to all the anti-narcotics workers who have been fighting on the front line of narcotics for a long time and made contributions to the anti-narcotics cause in Yushui District, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to friends from all walks of life who care about and support the anti-narcotics work. Yu Jianjun pointed out that the anti-narcotics work has a bearing on the security of the country, the rise and fall of the nation, the economic development of Chongqing, and social stability, and that anti-narcotics workers must bravely undertake their missions and work hard, and all sectors of society and the vast number of teachers and students must take the initiative to participate in and win the people's war against narcotics.
In the publicity activities, the District Culture, Radio, and New Tourism Bureau "Anti-drug Work is as Heavy as a Mountain" theme Allegro, Jiangxi Institute of Engineering performed and sang "Six Mouths of Tea" and other programs, preaching anti-drug knowledge in entertaining.
At the event site, a signature wall, a simulated drug learning area, a drug knowledge display area, and an interactive area for student anti-drug games were arranged. The students actively participated in the anti-drug signature activity, solemnly wrote their names on the anti-drug signature wall, and pledged to actively participate in and support the anti-drug work.
The police and anti-drug social workers explained in detail to the students the anti-drug knowledge, the dangers of drugs and how to stay away from drugs through on-site explanations and the distribution of anti-drug publicity materials, emphasizing the importance of young people to prevent the abuse of new drugs and narcotic drugs.
During the activity, students actively participated in interactive games such as Anti-drug Monopoly, Anti-Drug Campaign, Anti-drug Fun Wheel, Check-in and Photo Shooting, etc., and learned anti-drug knowledge in the games. The students expressed that they should consciously develop a healthy, civilized and positive lifestyle, establish a strong sense of self-protection of "cherishing life and staying away from drugs", be a good "volunteer anti-drug propagandist", and further build a drug-free defense line on the university campus.
