In his offside column, Romano added that David would almost certainly leave Lille this summer.
"At the moment I haven't been told that this is imminent or imminent. So I think they're just talking to a lot of clubs and agents to get a feel for a couple of strikers in the market. But at the moment, I haven't heard anything. I still hope David leaves Lille in the summer transfer window. Romano wrote.

The former chief executive has backed the Blues' move to bring in Branswaite
According to former Everton manager Vesness, Chelsea could bring in Branswaite as the transfer window progresses. The England defender's recent performances at the Merseyside club have earned rave reviews.
Branswaite made 41 appearances for the Toffees in 2023/24, all starts. Recent reports have revealed that Manchester United have eyed the 21-year-old and are working hard to secure his signing.

He continued:
"They're probably going to come in again, later, probably soon. They certainly need more centre-back talent. Chelsea have not solved their attacking problems either. There is no doubt that they need another one. ”
It was recently reported that Everton are looking to acquire their valuable assets for £70 million, with him under contract at Goodison Park until 2027.
Chelsea have set Hutchinson's price
According to Football London, Chelsea are looking to part ways with Omari Hutchinson for £30 million. The 20-year-old spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Ipswich Town and played a key role in their promotion to the Premier League.
Hutchinson made 50 appearances in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists. His hard work has earned him the hearts of several clubs in Europe.
