Continental play-offs (last 2 teams qualify for the World Cup)

Six teams from the AFC (1), the African Football Confederation (1), the South American Football Confederation (1), the Oceania Football Confederation (1) and the CONCACAF (2) compete for the final two places. Six teams will be seeded for two finals based on the FIFA rankings, and the other four teams will be drawn for the semi-finals, with the winners playing against the seeded teams.
