As a large MPV, the Yizhen L380 adopts pure electric power, with a CLTC range of up to 805km, and provides a variety of seat layouts from 3 to 8 seats to meet the needs of various consumers.
Perhaps for most consumers, the brand is still a little unfamiliar, the brand is Geely's focus on creating British style high-end business travel car brand, its predecessor is LTC (London Taxi Company), the earliest can be traced back to 1908, is a 116-year-old classic car brand. In 2006, Geely Group acquired a 20% stake in LEVC and completed the wholly-owned acquisition in 2013. In 2017, London Taxi Company officially changed its name to London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC). In 2022, Zhejiang Yinglun Automobile changed its name to Zhejiang Yizhen Automobile, and LEVC has a Chinese name, and it has also become a brand that has opened the prelude to Geely's globalization.
Returning to the new car, in terms of appearance, Yizhen L380 adopts the current popular closed front face and split headlight group, the top of the front is a three-section LED light strip, and the lower part is the high and low beam light group, which is connected with the air intake at the lower part of the front to form a U-shaped shape, so that the entire front of the car has a high degree of recognition. On the side of the body, as a large MPV, the Yizhen L380 is very strong and full, but its all-black roof and ABC pillar design balance the visual proportions of the side of the body, making the huge body appear less bulky. In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 5316/1998/1940mm, and the wheelbase is 3185mm. At the rear of the car, the new car adopts a through-type rear taillight cluster, which presents a fan-shaped radiation style on both sides of the lighting, and the visual effect will be very cool. In terms of interior, the overall design of the front row of Yizhen L380 is very simple, the overall use of black and brown collocation, equipped with a full LCD instrument panel + large-size central control screen, most of the functions are concentrated on the central control screen, so that there are fewer physical buttons in the overall car. The new car features a three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel, a pocket gear shift, and a crystal knob under the centre console to control the multimedia system, which has a diamond-cut design that looks very sophisticated.

In terms of power, the Yizhen L380 adopts pure electric drive, with a maximum power of 272 horsepower in the single-motor two-wheel drive version, a battery capacity of 100kWh and 116kWh, and a CLTC range of 570km and 675km, which comes from Times Geely. The dual-motor all-wheel drive version has a maximum power of 400 kW (544 hp), a battery capacity of 140 kWh, and a CLTC all-electric range of 785 km and 805 km. In addition, the new car supports fast charging, which can be charged from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes, and can replenish the range of 200km in 10 minutes.
As a pure electric MPV for the mid-to-high-end market, Yizhen L380's main competitors are Ideal MEGA, Xpeng X9, Extreme Krypton 009 and other models, which are very similar in size to Ideal MEGA in the above models, with a wheelbase of more than 5300mm. However, from the perspective of market positioning, the ideal MEGA is more focused on the family, and the price is slightly higher, while the Yizhen L380 is still more focused on business, and the price is much lower than the ideal MEGA.
As an MPV for the mid-to-high-end market, the biggest highlight of the Yizhen L380 is that there are a variety of seat layouts to choose from, the 3-seat version can meet the needs of business reception, the 6-seat version is equipped with independent seats for everyone, so that the family can comfortably travel long distances, and if there are more family members, you can also choose the 8-seat version. From the perspective of overall product competitiveness, Yizhen L380 can indeed adapt to the needs of different consumers, and has strong market competitiveness in the increasingly volatile new energy MPV market. Of course, brand recognition is also a major drawback, compared to other MPV brand models, Wing is really a brand that has just been born.
From the market point of view, the pure electric MPV is not easy to sell, the overall market performance is relatively average, there are not many products in the pure electric MPV market of more than 300,000 yuan, the slightly better performance of the model is Xiaopeng X9, with sales of 1625 units in May, 614 units of Ideal MEGA, 473 units of Denza D9, and 450 units of Zeekrypton 009. Therefore, I am still looking forward to how the Yizhen L380 will perform.
