At the meeting, it was revealed that the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor is expected to be officially opened on June 30, with an opening event in the morning and a trial operation at 3 p.m. At that time, the travel time between Shenzhen and Zhongshan will be shortened from 2 hours to half an hour, and the A-shaped transportation network skeleton of the "Golden Inner Bay" in the Pearl River Estuary will add a "key horizontal".
The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage is a key control project of the national highway network G2518 across the Pearl River Estuary, about 30 kilometers away from the Humen Bridge in the north and about 31 kilometers away from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in the south.
The project integrates "bridge-island-tunnel-underwater interconnection", with a total length of about 24 kilometers, and is one of the most difficult cross-sea cluster projects in the world.

On the 27th, the official website of the Provincial Department of Transportation announced the approval of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation, the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Finance on the vehicle toll charging standards of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan cross-river channel.
The toll models shall implement the "Classification of Toll Road Vehicle Toll Models" (JT/T489-2019), and the toll standard for all vehicles of the project is 66 yuan/standard train, including:
The charging standard from the east artificial island (starting point) to the west artificial island is 37 yuan/standard train;
The charging standard for the interconnection between the West Artificial Island and Wanqingsha Hub is 23 yuan/standard train;
The charging standard for Wanqingsha hub interchange to Hengmen interchange (end point) is 6 yuan/standard train;
The charging coefficient of 1~4 types of passenger cars is 1, 1.5, 2, 3, wherein, 3 types of passenger cars, 4 types of passenger cars charging coefficients are implemented according to 60% of the aforementioned coefficients;
The charging coefficients of 1~6 types of trucks are 1, 2.1, 3.16, 3.75, 3.86 and 4.09;
The charging standard of special operation vehicles shall be implemented with reference to trucks.
