However, it may be affected by the excessive wind speed in the weather, and the two impellers could not be installed on the main engine during the live broadcast under the premise that they have been assembled.
According to the analysis of the structure and on-site construction of the unit, the two impellers of the unit should be hoisted successively in the shortest possible time. If only one impeller goes up and the other impeller is not installed, there may be some risk. This suggests that the lifting window for the double-head unit may be more limited.
Even so, judging from the on-site construction progress, the impeller of the unit is likely to be hoisted within this month. Subsequently, the ship will tow it to the aircraft position for underwater fixation, and finally realize the grid connection of the unit. In view of the fact that the unit will be installed next to the Yangjiang Qingzhou Four Offshore Project, which has achieved grid connection of all units in 2023, the grid connection conditions of Tiancheng are relatively good, and normally it can be put into operation within the year.
Recently, it has become a hot topic in the wind power industry. Many industry experts and senior executives of leading enterprises have spoken out to promote this huge new wind power market. However, judging from the actions of various machine manufacturers, there are almost no head machine enterprises that have realized the installation or offline of floating wind turbines. Most of the people who have the courage to carry out innovative practices on the floating type are second-echelon machine manufacturers, including Yunda Co., Ltd., Mingyang Intelligence, CSSC Marine, Shanghai Electric, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, Dongfang Electric, etc.
Why is the head machine enterprise thundering and raining? This is a question worth pondering. In the author's view, innovation requires investment and is also risky, especially for offshore wind power, and it is difficult to say whether these investments can be turned into benefits in the end. In addition, the current cost of floating projects is too high, and for a long time, it will be in the stage of technological exploration rather than the stage of market development. Perhaps considering these two points, companies with deep planning often prefer to be more stable and far-reaching.
But in any case, in today's serious homogenization of wind power technology, it should be praised that some enterprises are willing to stand up and engage in some new explorations.
