On June 18, 2005, the first line of Chongqing rail transit, Line 2, was put into initial operation, making Chongqing the first city in the western region to open urban rail transit. At present, Chongqing Rail Transit has opened 13 lines with an operating mileage of 538 kilometers and a maximum daily passenger volume of 5.162 million passengers. On April 14, 2024, the cumulative passenger flow of Chongqing rail transit exceeded 10 billion. By 2025, the mileage in operation and under construction will reach "1000+", and 45 minutes of rail connection will be achieved between Chongqing's urban functional center and external transportation hub.
On the same day, the "Xiangyu" mini program was officially launched.
