This leafy ancient persimmon tree is a native fire crystal persimmon tree in Lintong. Nearly two centuries of growth make it like a giant umbrella, standing in the field into a unique scenery, the village people affectionately call it "persimmon Ruyi".

On the same day, Lintong District's "Protecting Ancient and Famous Trees and Searching for Nostalgia in Memory" Ancient and Famous Trees Exploration Boutique Route was officially released. Lishan Mountain stands in the south, and the Wei River runs through the east and west, and the unique natural environment has given birth to the rich resources of ancient and famous trees in Lintong District. It is understood that there are 180 scattered ancient and famous trees and 1 ancient tree group in Lintong District. The number of scattered ancient trees ranks among the top three in the city, including 4 ancient trees under special protection for more than 1,000 years, 26 ancient trees under first-class protection over 500 years, 38 ancient trees under second-class protection over 300 years, and 112 ancient trees under third-class protection over 100 years.

In order to further strengthen the protection of ancient and famous trees and excavate the ecological and cultural values of the northern foot of the Qinling Mountains, Lintong District has designed three high-quality routes for exploring ancient and famous trees based on the geographical information, history and humanities, morphological characteristics, resource endowment and protection advantages.
Chen Zhiming, director of Lintong District Forestry Workstation, introduced that the starting point of the No. 1 line is located near the Pang Yuqin Education Base of the Ma'e Street Office, and passes through Mu Guiying's training ground, camp and horse tethering piles and other scenic spots along the way. Line 2 starts from Lintong along the direction of Muzhai, involving 12 ancient tree landscapes such as "Sansheng Tree", "North Slope Huaiweng" and "Walnut Ancient Tree". Route 3 starts from the ancient temple of Fengwanggou in Lintong, passes through the ancient trees of Qinling, Daiwang and other historical and cultural towns along the road, and finally settles on the most beautiful ancient locust tree in the country - Huwang Hanhuai, along the way, there are 7 ancient tree landscapes such as "Lijiacun honey locust", "husband acacia" and "Zhiyan ancient acacia", which is the best ancient tree exploration route to appreciate history and culture. In order to facilitate tourists to understand the history of ancient trees, Lintong District has also made "QR code" business cards covering basic information, historical allusions and other pictures and texts for the ancient trees on the three exploration routes.

From July to November this year, Lintong District will adopt the method of one tree and one scene a week, and continue to publicize and display the pictures of ancient trees, historical stories, nearby specialties and delicacies, agricultural and sideline products on the official WeChat public account, inviting tourists to explore the history of ancient trees, visit the wonders of ancient trees, and find green nostalgia.
Liu Yongqiang, director of the Qinling Ecological Environment Protection and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau of Lintong District, said: "We hope that through these three routes, more citizens will know, know and protect ancient trees.
