Note: Switzerland has ranked first in the competitiveness of the Global Innovation Index for 12 consecutive years, is an important source of innovation in the world, and is also China's first innovation strategic partnership country, which has excellent complementarity with China in the fields of innovation development and technology finance.

The "Swiss Innovation 100", organized by Venturelab, brings together the best "Swiss made" start-ups and growth stage technology innovation companies, and is the most internationally influential innovation ecological benchmark in Switzerland. Since 2011, the list has annually selected 100 of the most groundbreaking and promising Swiss innovators and 25 Swiss growth companies with the most unicorn potential across the country, covering life sciences, construction machinery, robotics, information and communication, low-carbon technology, food technology and other fields, and this year it has added 41 new companies to the list.

In order to comprehensively display and introduce the most cutting-edge innovative technologies in Switzerland, Titanium Media APP and Insight Tech, the Chinese authorized partner of Venturelab, jointly launched the "Swiss Top 100 Innovations" feature, which comprehensively displays the panorama of Switzerland's pioneering science and technology innovation ecology.

This is the 90th issue of the column, and Gossik, a Swiss Innovation 100 company in 2023, is developing AI software for the daily life management of people with ADHD.

Founded in 2021, Swiss information and communications technology company Gossik has developed an AI app that combines schedule management and expert tutoring for people with ADHD aged 10-20 and their families. The app optimizes patient self-management expertise by learning from patients' daily behaviors and preferences, automatically generating schedules and providing tools to help patients complete them, and providing online expert coaching for patients and their families.

Co-founded by Benno Staub and Diego Gladig, Gossik's team has extensive experience in ADHD coaching and application programming.

ADHD is a common neurodevelopmental disorder, the full name of "attention deficit hyperactivity disorder", patients will have difficulty suppressing their various reactions, such as frequent "distraction", lack of sense of discipline, etc., which also makes ADHD patients face many difficulties in daily life, such as difficulty in making daily plans, time management, communicating with others, etc. For people with ADHD, early diagnosis and treatment are critical to their quality of life, and early intervention can significantly reduce the risk of complications such as depression, anxiety, and addiction.

To help people aged 10-20 with ADHD improve their daily self-management, Gossik has developed an AI app that combines schedule management and expert coaching, which can automatically generate a schedule list and provide tools to help patients complete the list by learning from patients' daily behaviors and preferences, as well as providing online expert coaching for patients and their families to optimize their professional self-management plans in a timely manner.

Users only need to input all their goals, to-dos, thoughts and ideas into the software, and Gossik will learn the patient's daily behavior and preferences through AI, combine the to-do list with the patient's preferences, motivation level, priorities, etc., and automatically generate a schedule to help the patient manage their daily life. Gossik provides a daily check-in function to grasp the changes in patients' motivation and mood, and dynamically prioritize the to-do items based on this. At the same time, Gossik further helps patients focus on the task at hand through tools such as task reminders, expert guidance interactions, and timers, improving their sense of time and completion.

Along with the app, Gossik provides instant expert coaching services. Gossik has built a strong network of certified counselors with years of experience in both adolescent ADHD and clinical special education. Gossik provides an online communication platform for patients, their families and certified specialists to communicate with patients and their families on important day-to-day issues such as patient self-organization management, interpersonal communication, coping with school life, ADHD medication use, and parent-patient communication considerations, without the need for an appointment, to meet the consultation needs of patients and families at any time.

Gossik's software has landed on app stores in 2021. Currently, Gossik has partnerships with 34 clinics. In 2023, Gossik's software has helped more than 130 families with ADHD.

In 2023, Gossik received nearly CHF 1 million in financing, which will help Gossik further optimize the software features and develop a supporting ADHD coaching program to help more ADHD patients build the ability to cope with daily life independently.
