"Three Heroes Sword" is a classic work of Teacher Shan Tianfang, but the rising star Wang Yuebo said that "Three Heroes Sword" is the book he doesn't want to talk about, what is the reason for this?
Wang Yuebo mentioned when he broadcast the book commentary that "Three Heroes Sword" is a story review that the older generation especially likes to say, but he does not "enjoy" the humanity of the masters, so he doesn't like this book. But in Shan Lao's version of "Three Heroes Sword", Shengying is a good old man with a very good character, but in Wang Yuebo's mouth, he has become a despicable villain, who is right?
In fact, Sheng Ying is a fictional character, and "Three Heroes Sword" was created by Zhang Jiexin, a well-known storytelling artist in Tianjin, which is at the end of the last century and the beginning of this century. Since it is a fictional character, there is no essential truth or falsehood, but the books spoken by storytellers throughout the ages are largely borrowed from the original work, so since the plot is similar, the characters should be too much more or less, otherwise it will be Zhang Guan Li Dai and make up nonsense.
And the Shengying of the original "Three Heroes Sword" is not as perfect as Shan Lao said, he also has seven emotions and six desires, and he also has jealousy. Of course, it's not that Seungyoung is a villain, but good people often have a lot of shortcomings and a dark side, which is the real person. The characters in the old books are often black and white, the good guys have almost no shortcomings, and the bad guys are bad to the bone. Like Tong Lin in "The Legend of Tong Lin", he is also a person who will not shoot if he is not bullied to the point of desperation, and Shengying is also a simple and honest character in the mouth of Shan Lao.
The old version of Shengying's martial arts is above average, and he has a dart stunt, which makes him invincible in the game with major masters. In the face of the villains who came to provoke, Shengying often persuaded people with reason, but the final result was a bunch of nonsense, and the other side didn't buy it. If the opponent's strength is not good, Shengying will be merciful, if the opponent is a master, Shengying will use darts, but it is also merciful and will never kill the other party.
Although Ke Shengying is soft on his enemies, he kills his own brothers. Qin Tianbao, the eighth of the eight righteous wives, was reprimanded by the third brother Shengying for accepting two aunts, and the two had a fierce argument because of this incident, which finally escalated into a brawl. Sheng Ying accidentally killed the old Baqin Tianbao with a dart, and he couldn't regret it. In order to make up for his mistakes, Shengying raised Qin Tianbao's family, including Qin Tianbao's son Qin Yan and his wife.
And Qin Yan suddenly disappeared when he grew up, and made killing Shengying his lifelong goal. Qin Yan tried to frame and kill Shengying many times, but in the end he was unsuccessful, but it also caused a lot of trouble to Shengying. But no matter how Qin Yan tossed, Shengying couldn't bear to do it, although he was not killed, he died several times, and finally died of illness at home, which can be regarded as the end of hatred.
And Shengying in Wang Yuebo's mouth is a somewhat despicable villain, he is jealous of his ability and deliberately killed his eighth brother. Because Qin Tianbao had learned darts from Shengying, Shengying thought that Qin Tianbao would not be able to learn, who would have thought that Qin Tianbao was talented and smart, and really mastered Shengying's dart skills, so Shengying was jealous, and under the pretext of continuing to teach Qin Tianbao darts, he accidentally killed Qin Tianbao.
The two versions are obviously Wang Yuebo is correct, first of all, there is no such perfect person in the world, according to what Shan Lao said, Shengying killed Qin Tianbao for the sake of heaven, there is no need to blame himself so much, not to mention that he raised Qin Yin, Qin Yin repaid his grievances with virtue, and he should not be. Logically speaking, Shengying was obviously forcibly whitewashed by Shan Lao. From other storytellers' versions, it was also found that only Shan Tianfang's version of Shengying was this kind of character, and the rest were almost the same as Wang Yuebo.
This is why Qin You, the flying rat, has always framed Shengying, but he has always been able to get shelter from the people of the rivers and lakes. If Qin's father and son were so unbearable, it would be impossible for them to have so many friends in the rivers and lakes, which also reflects the face painting problem of the characters in Shan Lao's commentary.
There is a hero in "Three Heroes Sword" who teaches Hu Jingchun to "scatter money with a grain", he is strong in martial arts, and he is more powerful than Shengying. But the earliest Hu Jingchun wanted to apprentice with Shengying, Shengying clearly agreed to Hu Jingchun, in fact, he didn't want to teach Hu Jingchun martial arts at all, for fear that he would surpass him, and this story once again shows that Shengying is jealous of his ability. And Shengying's senior brother and others couldn't stand it, so they taught Hu Jingchun martial arts, because these people's martial arts were much higher than Shengying's, so Hu Jingchun's martial arts also surpassed Shengying's.
This is the reason why Wang Yuebo said that he is not "happy" to win the heroes, although this is a virtual character, but praising such a character with a not very good character, Wang Yuebo still feels a little awkward. Of course, Shan Lao also realized this, so he simply said that Shengying was a good person.
But with the advent of "Serial Set", Shan Lao began to contradict himself. In this book, although Shengying is deceased, his apprentice Huang Santai has become the head of Shangsanmen. In "Three Heroes Sword", Shengying's master and apprentice are positive characters who support justice, and in "Serial Set", these people have become the eagle dogs of the imperial court. So what kind of people are Huang Santai and others?
Obviously, from the perspective of the Jianghu people, Huang Santai and others are the eagle dogs of the Qing court. We have read a lot of novels about the Qing Dynasty, and the Qing government adopted a killing policy for these Jianghu people without exception, whether it is "Divine Sword Shocking Yongzheng", or "Blood Drops", or Mr. Jin Yong's "Book of Swords and Enmity", all of which put Jianghu people and the imperial court on the opposite side. So since Shengying is a native of the rivers and lakes and has taken refuge in the imperial court, he must be a lackey, because the Qing government's control and exploitation of the people is very serious.
And "Serial Set" starts the story from such a perspective, the book Bile Erdun's parents were killed by the Qing government, he became a towing monk, and later made a ringing horse, which was to overthrow the Qing government. But this book is a short book after all, so Dou Erdun inevitably has to deal with Huang Santai and others. Huang Santai in "Three Heroes Sword" is a copy of Shengying, who is also loyal and honest, upright, and Huang Santai in "Serial Set" is very treacherous, and injured Tie Luohan with a hidden weapon in the competition, although he defeated Dou Erdun, he also lost face.
The same characters become two completely different people in different commentaries. It can also be seen from "Three Thieves and Nine Dragons Cup" and "Peng Gong's Case" that Huang Santai is indeed a treacherous and flattering person, but it is difficult to say whether Huang Santai is good or bad. Kangxi in "The Case of Peng Gong" was chased by a tiger, and Huang Santai suddenly appeared, killed the tiger with a dart, and begged the emperor for a yellow coat. This story also shows that Huang Santai is indeed flattering the Qing government.
And in "Three Thieves and Nine Dragons Cup", Huang Santai began to brag when she was drinking with her junior brothers, saying that she was successful and mixed very well. And the younger brother Yang Xiangwu couldn't look down on Huang Santai's flattery of the court, so the two began to raise each other's bars, and finally Yang Xiangwu stole Kangxi's Nine Dragon Cup, triggering a series of stories. It shows that Huang Santai is far from the image of a humble gentleman in Shan Lao's mouth, and his son Huang Tianba is also an assistant to the imperial court, and it is very accurate to say that Shengying's master and apprentice are all eagle dogs of the Qing court.
Although Wang Yuebo's qualifications and standards are not enough to be compared with Shan Lao, Wang Yuebo is slightly better in terms of the portrayal of some characters, his characters are more three-dimensional, and the characters portrayed by Shan Lao are relatively face-painted. Although storytelling is all nonsense, an important part of storytelling and listening to drama is to increase knowledge and insight into human nature. Obviously, some of Shan Lao's treatment of characters is too idealistic, which is one of the important reasons why the more I listen to Shan Lao's commentary, the more boring I feel.
