The 13th edition of Automechanika Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's leading automotive aftermarket exhibition, will be held from 1 to 3 August in halls 1 to 5 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This year's 9,710-square-metre fair brought together 310 global exhibitors from 19 countries and regions to showcase the latest trends and new mobility solutions in line with the Malaysia automotive market.

Smart mobility, shaping the future

In response to the ever-changing needs of the automotive market, which is facing a seismic shift in the electrification of the automotive market, Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2024 has launched a new Mobility Solutions Zone. Focusing on the latest trends in hot-spot areas such as electrification, digitalization, AI applications, automotive manufacturing and automation, logistics and supply chain optimization, sustainability, and environmental, social and governance (ESG), the zone brings industry-leading solutions.

In addition to the Mobility Solutions Zone, the fair also covers a wide range of sectors across the automotive value chain, including Commercial Vehicles & Fleets, Car Repair, Maintenance & Beauty/Body & Painting/Supplies & Tuning, as well as Components & Components and Electrical & Electronics.

With a wealth of product displays, the exhibition has received strong support from the automotive industry at home and abroad, and professional visitors from about 45 countries and regions around the world have come to visit. Among them, overseas countries and regions include U.A.E., Australia, France, the Philippines, Canada, Cambodia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Italy, Indonesia and Viet Nam.

Diversified concurrent activities, wonderful presentation

In addition to the abundant product display, the fair will also offer a wide range of ancillary activities to facilitate information exchange and skills training. A new highlight of the show, the Mobility Solutions Conference (1-2 August), will delve into the latest trends and solutions shaping the future of the automotive industry. The two-day program includes electrification and digitalization, automotive logistics, warehousing and supply chain, as well as automotive manufacturing, transformation and automation.

The well-received Collision Repair Training Course (1-2 August) was once again launched. Attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of EV subsystem fundamentals, features, and specifications, as well as learn diagnostic and troubleshooting skills through hands-on training on professional scanning systems.

In addition, the autoFEST@KL Music Party (2 August, 19:00 to 21:00) will invite well-known performers to give wonderful performances, so that attendees can relax after the busy business exchanges. Other highlights include DIY workshops, interactive games and antique car displays.
