Suzhou embroidery, one of the four famous embroideries in China, is a national intangible cultural heritage. Lu Jianying, the representative inheritor of Suzhou embroidery, opened the "Guanxiu Garden" workshop on Pingjiang Road, Gusu District, Suzhou City, and is committed to building it into a place for tasting, experiencing and spreading Suzhou embroidery culture.
"An embroidered bandage, ten fingers of spring breeze." A good Suzhou embroidery work often takes months or even years to complete, Lu Jianying, who studied Suzhou embroidery with her grandmother and mother since childhood, loves and is obsessed with the research and creation of Suzhou embroidery, and she hopes to make each work "through" by time more artistic vitality. Now, she has passed on the skills of Suzhou embroidery to her daughter, and also wants to let more people get in touch with Suzhou embroidery and spread intangible cultural heritage culture through the workshop.
