The Eastern White Stork stayed on the shore for a moment, then flew away in the sky with another companion. The Oriental White Stork is very rare and is known as the "Bird Giant Panda". They have high habitat requirements, breed in the north, overwinter in the south, and although distributed in Fujian, they are extremely rare.

That evening, Lin Yu, secretary general of the Xiamen Bird Watching Association, and his wife went to the area near the Shuanglongtan Reservoir in Jimei Irrigation to conduct night observation. During the observation, lin owl's wife swept through the area with a flashlight, and inadvertently found a yellow-mouthed owl standing on a low branch near the side of the road. The wife did not dare to speak up, and quietly called out to Lin Owl to come and observe. "In July this year, I photographed the yellow-mouthed owl in the Nanjing Huboliao Nature Reserve in Zhangzhou, so I recognized it at a glance." Lin Owl said.

This is the first time that the yellow-mouthed owl has been observed in Xiamen. According to Lin Owls, the yellow-mouthed owl has more records in the mountainous areas of Fujian. Because it is a nocturnal bird, it generally stands on a tall and hidden branch, and it is often difficult to find its traces only by hearing its sound. The yellow-mouthed owl's cry is very magical, like a two-syllable whistle of "boo, boo-boo, boo", which is very penetrating and can resound throughout the valley.
