At 2:50 a.m., the Chinese police ambushed on the side of the highway to intercept a van carrying native chickens

At about 2:00 a.m. on January 22, the Wuhua County Public Security Bureau organized more than 10 police forces to set up a card at the entrance of the Xinghua Expressway water village to intercept and arrest the suspects Chen X and Li X suspected of stealing poultry, and seized a car and more than 80 stolen native chickens on the spot.

A few days ago, the Wuhua County Public Security Bureau received a report from the masses that the chickens fed at home had been stolen. Although the value of such cases is relatively small, they are related to the vital interests of the people and seriously affect the people's sense of security and satisfaction. The bureau attaches great importance to it, and in conjunction with the ongoing special operation of "three strikes and one rectification" and the spring special operation of "Mei'an No. 2", the criminal investigation brigade and the police station where the crime occurred immediately launched an investigation into the case. The police handling the case retrieved the surveillance video along the way of the time of the crime, and through analysis and judgment, found that a Wuling Light brand van had major suspicions, and locked Chen XX and Li XX as suspected of major crimes.

On the evening of January 21, based on the clues found in the investigation, the bureau organized more than 10 police forces from the criminal investigation brigade, Huayang police station and other units to set up cards at the entrance of the Xinghua Expressway water village to intercept them. At about 2:00 a.m. the next day, the Wuling Zhiguang brand van driven by Chen xxx and Li xx appeared at the entrance of the highway, and the arresting police divided into multiple groups according to the predetermined plan of the matter, and the van driven by the criminal suspect was sandwiched between the front and back, successfully arrested the two people, and seized more than 80 native chickens on the van.

According to the confessions of the arrested suspects Chen xxx and Li xxx (both men, from Wuhua County), the more than 80 chickens seized by the police on the car were stolen from the home of a peasant household in Xingning City on the 21st. They also confessed that since December 2017, in order to earn money to go home for the New Year, Chen and Li have repeatedly driven vans to the rural villages of Ganzhou, Jiangxi, Xingning, Meizhou, Guangdong, Wuhua and Jiaoling to steal the unlocked chicken pens, and sold more than 100 stolen chickens at low prices to earn illegal benefits. At present, 2 criminal suspects have been criminally detained by the Wuhua County public security organs for suspected theft, and the case is being further investigated.
