24就是24小时，7就是一周七天。例如： I work 24/7. “我无时无刻都在工作。”
2. Get the ball rolling 开始做某事
Let’s get the ball rolling
“让我们开始做这件事吧！”
3. Take it easy 放轻松
其实它就是relax的意思，例如：
I don’t have any plan this week, I think I will take it easy. “这周我没什么安排，我准备好好地放松。”
4. Sleep on it 花点时间思考
I will get back to you tomorrow, I have to sleep on it. “我明天再告诉你吧，我还得想想。”
5. I’m broke 我破产了
而如果是企业要破产，则是用：Go under
6. Sharp 准时地
The meeting is at 7 o’clock sharp. “会议在七点整开始。”
这句意思就是，会议在七点整开始，最好准时到。
7. Like the back of my hand 了若指掌
I know this city like the back of my hand. “我对这城市了若指掌。”
8. Give me a hand 帮助我
Would you give me a hand? “你愿意帮我吗？”
9. In ages 好长一段时间
I haven’t seen him in ages. “我已经很久没看过他了。”
10. Sick and tired 厌烦
I’m sick and tired of doing homework. “我厌烦了做功课！”
