The woman next door said her life wasn’t as easy as mine, as she had to to get up early every day and drop off her daughter at school before she went to work.
I didn’t know why she compared her life with mine. I have three children under 8 years old, while her only child is a fourteen-year-old middle school student. Though she has a job, she doesn’t need to cook for her daughter, pick her up at noon or take her to school again after a nap, which are exactly what I have to do every weekday. What’s more, I have to help my son with his homework every night and sometimes my daughters have homework too.
Does she really think a full-time housewife is an idle woman who does nothing except grooming herself?
